In this article, we'll be looking at the new cards in Frontier mode, Dire Bear and Moros Malik. Why only two? Why Earth and Death? There are many questions, but bears seem strong.
By the way, one monster you often see in RPGs is called the dire wolf. In fact, the dire wolf is a wolf that lived in North America until about 10,000 years ago, and is now extinct.
However, after genome analysis, it seems that it was revived in April 2025! Amazing! A real-life Jurassic Park is no longer a dream!?
But I digress.
Dire Bear costs 10, but has high Health, so it looks like it could make a pretty good tank. On the other hand, Moros Malik seems difficult to use. With an attack power of 1, I don't think he'll have much use.
I don't think these two will be the only cards, so I think more will be added gradually. This time it's a common and rare, but if higher rarity cards are added, I think it will be frustrating to get them because they'll be hard to get.
Now, let's take a look at each card one by one.
First up is DIRE BEAR, which I think is a very strong card.
Starting at level 1, he has 2 points of attack power and 7 points of health. These are pretty good stats, but he's inevitably compared to Dread Tafarian, who has the Heal ability.
DREAD TAFARIAN and DIRE BEAR are both wild animal themed units, a bear and a lion. I think I prefer the furry bear.
In terms of stats, BEAR is stronger, but its Heal ability is still superior. I guess it depends on the cost. As a tank, DREAD TAFARIAN is better, considering it has armor.
On the other hand, DIRE BEAR has high attack power, so it becomes very effective at level 3. If it's Unprotected rules (rules without armor), I would use BEAR.
In Melee Mayhem, you'll want to add BEAR. 3 attack power is quite good. However, the downside is that it's expensive, so it's difficult to prepare a separate tank.
In reality, the Dread Tafarian, which can act as a tank, seems more versatile and easier to use.

MOROS MALIK is...
How do I use this? Opportunity is a very good skill, and it's cheaper than Black Widow. It has more health than Grand Consul Minion. But...
If I were to use Moros Malik for long-range attacks, I'd probably use Lenore Nevermore.
If you're using Oppotunity to aim for a magic attacker, I think you should use VENGEFUL MONK.
I don't know when to use it...
Well, I'm sure someone important would understand. It's like the legs of a Zeong.
I don't have the new card yet, so I searched the TOP battles to see if there were any battles using DIRE BEAR. I found only one.
I think the strategy was to put DIRE BEAR in the lead and conserve DREAD TAFARIAN while accumulating damage on the enemy DREAD, but it didn't work out.
Even at level 3 with an attack power of 3, it still wouldn't be able to defeat him in ROUND 1. The enemy VENGEFUL MONK is whittling him down from behind, so it's outnumbered and in a tight spot.
As a tank, DREAD TAFARIAN still wins. I wonder if DEAR is most effective at higher levels and with rules like Super Sneak or Equal Opportunity?
Of the two, I think Dire Bear is more likely to be used, but Dread Tafarian is so good that his appearances will be limited. He's less versatile.
Moros Malik... well, good luck.
(In fact, some say it's a negative, since having more rare cards reduces the chance of drawing summoners.)

今回の記事は フロンティアモードの新カード、 DIRE BEAR と MOROS MALIK について考えてみます。なぜ2枚だけ？なぜ Earth と Death に？などいろんな疑問がありますがとりあえず 熊は強そう。
ところで良くRPGで見るモンスターに ダイアウルフ といモンスターがいます。実はこの ダイアウルフ というのは 1万年くらい前まで北アメリカに住んでいた狼で、すでに絶滅した狼らしいのです。
しかし、なんかしらんけどゲノム解析DNAヒャッハーした結果、2025年4月に復活したらしいですね！スゲー！リアルジェラシックパークも夢じゃない！？
閑話休題
DIRE BEAR はコストが10ですが Health が高いのでなかなかいいタンクになれそうですね。 一方、MOROS MALIK は使いずらい印象です。攻撃力が1では出番が無いかな？
この2枚だけという事は無いと思うので、徐々に追加されるのだと思います。今回はコモンとレアですが高レアリティが追加されたらなかなか手に入らずにイライラしそうな気がしますね。
さて、1枚ずつ確認してみましょう。
まずは DIRE BEAR ですが、このカード非常に強いと思います。
レベル1から攻撃力が2点、Healthは7点あります。なかなか優秀なステータスですが、 Heal アビリティ持ちの DREAD TAFARIAN がいるのでどうしても比較されちゃいますね。
DREAD TAFARIAN と DIRE BEAR 、どちらも野生動物モチーフのユニットで熊とライオンですね。私はケモケモしい熊のほうが好きかもしれないクマ―
ステータス面では BEAR のほうが強いですが Heal アビリティはやっぱり優秀。コストによって使い分けですかね？タンクとしてはアーマーがあることも考慮すると DREAD TAFARIAN のほうが優秀ですね。
一方、 DIRE BEAR は攻撃力が高いのでレベル3になるとすごく優秀になります。 Unprotected ルール（アーマーが無いルール）なら私は BEAR を使うかな。
Melee Mayhem ルールの場合なんかも BEAR を入れたいですね。攻撃力3点はかなり優秀です。しかし、欠点としてコストが大きいのでタンクを別に用意するのがつらいところ。
実際はタンクを出来る DREAD TAFARIAN のほうが汎用性が高く使いやすそうですね。現実は非情である。
次に。
MOROS MALIK は...
これはどう使うんだ？ Oppotunity はとても優秀なスキルだし、 BLACK WIDOW よりはコストが低い。GRAND CONSUL MINION よりはHealthが高い。でも...
遠距離攻撃として MOROS MALIK を入れるなら LENORE NEVERMORE を使うと思います。
Oppotunity で魔法アタッカー狙いを期待して入れるなら VENGEFUL MONK を使うと思います。
使いどころが分からない...
ま、まぁ、きっと偉い人ならわかるんでしょう。ジオングの足みたいなもんですよ。
私はまだ新カードを持っていないので、 DIRE BEAR を使っているバトルがTOPバトルに無いかを探してみると。1つだけ発見。
DIRE BEAR を先頭に置いて DREAD TAFARIAN を温存しつつ敵の DREAD にダメージを蓄積させる作戦だったと思うのですが、うまくいってないですね。
これがレベル3になって攻撃力が3点であっても ROUND1 で倒しきれません。相手の VENGEFUL MONK で後ろから削られているので数的不利からのジリ貧ですね。
やはりタンクとしては DREAD TAFARIAN に軍配が上がるでしょう。 DEAR さんが活躍するのは高レベルかつ、Super Sneak や Equal Oppotunity のようなルールの場合でしょうかね？
今回の2体では DIRE BEAR のほうが使われる可能性は高いと思いますが、 DREAD TAFARIAN が優秀なので出番は限られるでしょう。汎用性で負けています。
MOROS MALIK は...まぁがんばれ。
（むしろ、レアにカードが増えるとサモナーを引く確率が下がるので、マイナスという話まである。）
今後どう使われるんでしょうね？しばらくは様子見でしょうかね？
