I bought CALAMITY. It's about as I expected, a little over 100,000 DEC. I wonder if it will drop a bit more as time goes on?
The conflict ended at midnight Japan time, but I suddenly woke up. As I was casually watching the market, I noticed the price of CALAMITY dropping. It eventually dropped to 81,000 DEC, so I thought this was my chance! But...
I couldn't send the DEC from Hive-Engine to the game, so while I was playing around with the gacha, it got bought and the price went up to 120,000 DEC. 😭

Now, Calamity. He's strong. A magic attacker with Life Leech can't be weak! It reminds me of Ancient Lich.
Compared to him, his magic attack does the same 3 damage, but his mana cost is lower and his stats are higher! That's why he's so strong.
And thanks to the Shapeshift ability introduced in the Conclave Arcana, he can be affected by racial buffs. That's powerful!
Looking at his stats again, he has extremely high stats even at level 1. With a magic attack of 3, health of 9, and a low mana cost of 4, he's just overpowered.
And at level 2, he can recover health with Life Leech, further increasing his durability.
Electrified, which should have been a disadvantage, becomes an advantage if summoned with RAZU. He's strong enough even when summoned by someone other than him, but being able to complete the self-buff on his own is still powerful.
So how does this work in actual combat?
The summoner is, of course, RAZI CLANKTRAP. I really wanted a level 4, but the price was so high I had to settle for level 3.
I don't know why (of course I do), but the price just went up. I wonder if they found a great combo or something 😏
In this battle, your attack power will be over 10. Your attack power increases with each round, and you can recover with the increased attack power, so once you've leveled up, you'll be invincible!
However, if you receive concentrated attacks you'll be defeated, so the usual pattern is to recover with ARACHNE WAVER. However, your summoner's level limit means you'll be reduced to level 2.
It's a shame that it doesn't have a Scavenger, so its durability is low. Still, it does a good job as a healer in the early game, so that's good!
As you can see when you try it out, CALAMITY grows steadily, and eventually it takes down QUORA with a single touch. Strengthening yourself and defeating QUORA in this way is the winning formula.
CALAMITY seems like it would never lose if it stuck to its mold, but it actually had some unexpected weaknesses.
1. You can't summon it unless the Dragon element is present among the summoning targets.
This should be obvious, but for this combo to work, both Death and Dragon must be targeted.
This combo only requires the summoner and one unit, so I thought there should be a ton of situations where it could be used! Or so I thought.
Sometimes you can use Dragon, but Death isn't the target, or vice versa. There are surprisingly many cases where it doesn't work, so you need to be careful.
2. The amount of recovery is reduced if the enemy's Health is low.
Life Leech absorbs health, so if the target unit has taken damage and is low on health, you will only recover the remaining health.
Even if you deal 10 damage, if the target unit has only 1 Health remaining, you will only recover 1.
This is a surprising blind spot, and even if you think you'll be fine because you can recover, if your ally deals damage and reduces their health first, the amount recovered may be so small that you may be defeated by a subsequent attack.
Well, it does have its drawbacks, but I think it makes up for that by creating a powerful combination, so I recommend it. Oh, if I recommend it, the price of the RAZI will go up again...

さて、 CALAMITY ですが、強いですね。 魔法攻撃アタッカーで Life Leech を持ってるユニットが弱いわけない！ANCIENT LICH を思い出すよね。
彼と比べて魔法攻撃は同じ3点、マナコストは低く、ステータスは高い！そりゃ強いですよ。
そして コンクラーベ・アルカナ で登場した Shapeshift アビリティを持っているおかげで種族バフの影響を受ける事が出来ます。 これが強い！
改めてステータスを確認すると、レベル1から非常に高いステータスをしています。魔法攻撃が3点でHealthが9点でマナコストが4と低いのはぶっ壊れですよね。
そしてレベル2になれば Life Leech で体力を回復できるため耐久力がさらに上がります。
デメリットだったはずの Electrified も RAZU で召喚すれば一転、メリットになります。彼以外で召喚したとしても十分強いけれど、やっぱり一人で自己バフを掛けて完結するのは強いね。
これが実戦でどんな感じの動きをするかというと。
サモナーはもちろん RAZI CLANKTRAP です。 ホントはレベル4が欲しいんだけど、値段が高くてレベル3で我慢することになりました。
なんか知らないけど（もちろん知ってる）、値段が跳ね上がっちゃったんですよね。凄いコンボとかみつかったんですかねー😏
このバトルでは攻撃力が10以上になります。毎ROUND攻撃力が上がり、さらに上がった攻撃力で回復するので育ってしまえば無敵ですね！
ただし、集中攻撃を受けると倒されちゃいますので ARACHNE WAVER で回復するいつものパターンです。ただし、サモナーのレベル制限でレベル2に下がっています。
Scavenger がないので耐久力が低いのが残念です。それでも、序盤の回復役としては十分な働きをしてくれたので良し！です。
実際に見てもらうとわかりますが、 CALAMITY がどんどん育って、最終的には QUORA を鎧袖一触でなぎ倒します。こんな感じで自己強化して倒していくのが勝ちパターンですね。
型にはまれば負けることがなさそうな CALAMITY ですが、実は予想してなかった弱点もありました。
１．Dragon エレメントが召喚対象でないと呼べない。
当たり前なんですけどね。今回のコンボでは Death と Dragon の両方が対象になっていないと成立しません。
サモナーと1ユニットだけで成立するコンボなので使えるシーンはめっちゃ多いはず！なんて思っていたんですけどね。
Dragonは使用できるけど、Deathが対象外だったり、その逆だったり。意外と成立しない場合も多いので注意が必要です。
２．敵のHealthが低いと回復量が減る。
Life Leech は体力を吸い取るため、攻撃対象のユニットがダメージを受けて体力が下がっている場合、残っている体力しか回復できません。
10ダメージを与えても、対象のユニットが残りHealthが1しかない場合は1しか回復できません。
これは意外と盲点で、回復できるから大丈夫！と思っていても味方が先にダメージを与えて体力を減らしてしまうと回復量が少なくて、その後の攻撃で倒されてしまう場合があります。
まぁ、欠点もありますがそれ以上に強いコンビネーションだと思うのでお勧めです。あ、お勧めしてしまうとまた RAZI の値段が上がってしまう...
