According to the release notes, a new tutorial called “Campaign Mode” has been added. There are 11 chapters in total, and by clearing the chapters, you can get foundation cards. So these cards are the mystery cards. I see. 🤔.

I was curious about the new cards, so I cleared the game right away. 11 chapters may seem long, but the battles are not difficult, so you just have to place the cards you are given. I can clear it quickly.

However, the game seems to be very slow and I had to reload the game several times because it froze in the middle of the game. Is it because it was just implemented?

You will get a card when you clear the order like this. If you are just starting out, this is the first step. Personally, I would like to see CH.6-SPEED explained in a little more detail. If the speeds are the same, it would be better to say something like, “Higher level attackers attack first. or “Magic attack > long-range attack > melee attack in that order.

Also, CH.11-MODIFIERS, the battle rules are now called “Modifiers” instead of “Rules”. Since when?

You will get a lot of cards when you complete all of these. All the elements are available, so you don't have to worry about trial play for now.

I see that Foundations has been added to the filter on the card list screen as well. I can see at a glance what kind of cards are there: is the Alcon of Water +1 magic attack, or the Alcon of Fire +1 speed? The mana cost is 6, which is quite high.

Even outside of Arcon, the mana cost is generally high. Of course, it is weak compared to the cards of Conclave Arcana. But unless you're a wealthy person who suddenly buys all kinds of cards to have them all, you're going to have to get them little by little, and Foundation Cards is a great way to fill in the missing pieces! 😉

However, there are many drawbacks to note.

• It is a Soulbound card, so it cannot be bought or sold.
• Cannot be synthesized to raise the card level.
• There is no way to get Epic and Legend cards.

Compared in this way, there are many differences between Foundation and Conclave Arcana. The biggest difference is that there is no status display.

I think this is because it is not possible to raise the level by card synthesis, but since there is no status, it is impossible to know what abilities increase when the level is raised (in the case of Arcon, whether the summon level changes or not).

始まりはギルドメンバーさんの 「こんなアルコンいましたっけ？？？」という発言。バトルログを見せてもらったら魔法攻撃+1の見たことのないアルコンが使われています。なんだこれ？？？

最初は魔法攻撃+1だから ALRIC STORMBRINGER にスキンがかぶされているのかと思ったんですけどね。でもキャラクターがお爺ちゃんじゃないし...なんだこれ？？？

ちなみに。スキンって何？って人もいるかもしれませんが、昔はカードの絵柄が変わるスキンが売ってたんですよ。能力は全く変わらず、絵柄だけを変えれるアイテムでした。

で、結局、謎の魔法攻撃+1のアルコンは何かというと、キャンペーンモードをクリアしていくことで手に入る Foundation cards でした。なんだそれ？？？

リリースノートを見ると、新しいチュートリアルとして キャンペーンモードというものが追加されているようですね。全11章あって、クリアしていくことで Foundation cards が手に入るという事です。このカードが謎のカードだったんですね。なるほど。🤔

新しいカードが気になったので早速クリアしてきました。11章あるので長いような気もしますけど、バトルは難しくないので与えられたカードをポチポチと配置していくだけ。すぐにクリアできますね。

ただし、やたら動作が重い感じがするし、途中で何度かフリーズして再読み込みが必要でした。実装直後だからかな？

こんな感じで順番にクリアしていくとカードがもらえます。始めたばかりの人はまずこれですね。個人的には CH.6-SPEED はもうちょっと詳しく解説して欲しいところですね。同じスピードだったら「レベルが高い方が先に攻撃します。」とか「魔法攻撃＞遠距離攻撃＞近接攻撃 の順になる」とかね。

あと、CH.11-MODIFIERS なんだけど、バトルルールの事、 Rule じゃなくて Modifiers っていうようになったんだね。いつからだろう？

CH.8-ABLITIES と CH.11-MODIFIERS の説明にリンクがあるけど、これはブックマークしておいた方がいいですね。ベテランの人でもたまにアビリティで悩んだりするからね。初心者さんなら特にこの2つのページはいつでも確認できるようにしておくとよろしいです。

そんなこんなで全部クリアするとカードがたくさん貰えます。全エレメント揃っているから、とりあえずお試しプレイには困りません。

カードの一覧画面でもフィルターに Foundations が追加されてるね。これで見ればどんなカードがあるか一目瞭然。Waterのアルコンは魔法攻撃+1、Fireのアルコンはスピード+1なのか。マナコストが6なのはかなり高いですね。

アルコン以外でも全体的にマナコストは高めです。当たり前だけど、 コンクラーベ アルカナ のカードと比べれば弱いです。でも、いきなりカードを全ての種類買って揃えるような富豪の人じゃなければ少しずつ揃えることになるわけだし、足りない部分を埋めれる Foundation Cards はとてもいいね！😉

ただし、欠点も沢山あるので注意が必要です。

• Soulboundカードなので売買できない。
• 合成してカードレベルを上げる事が出来ない。
• エピックとレジェンドのカードを手に入れる方法が無い。

などなど。

こうやって比べると Foundation と Conclave Arcana はいろいろ違うことが分かります。一番大きいのはステータスの表示が無いこと。

これはカード合成でレベルを上げる事が出来ない為じゃないかと思うけど、ステータスが無いためレベルを上げるとどんな能力が増えるか（アルコンの場合は召喚レベルが変わるか）が分からないんですよね。

これに関しては「将来的には入手方法も増やすし、合成できるようにするよ！」ってアップデートで明言されているので期待です。

そんな感じで Foundation Cards を見ていたのですが、個人的にはこのカードが気になりました。

魔法攻撃のSneakアタッカーがヤバいってことは古いプレイヤーほどよくわかってる。🤣

ほえー cecaelia さんっていうんだ。 これって個人名なのかな？種族名なのかな？って思って軽い気持ちでGoogleさんに聞いてみたら、思いのほか詳しく解説された。

「cecaeliaは、人間とタコを組み合わせた擬人化された種族の名前です。」 だそうです。

人の上半身でタコの下半身って意外とメジャーなのか... 『あのとき助けていただいたモンスター娘です。』 くらいでしか見た覚えがないでゲソ。🦑
