The original Ms. Hippo would be GENERAL SLOAN from Summoner? I don't know if there was a Mr. Hippo before that, but she made a very strong impression on me.

After that, JARED SCAR was a very strong hippopotamus that came out as a reward card. After all, Bloodlust ability is very powerful. However, it has 5 attack power but only 5 HP. It has armor, but its speed is only 2, so it will hit you before you hit it.

Maybe that's why you don't see it used as much as you think. I guess the problem is that if you put it at the front of the line, it will fall down quickly due to its durability.

However, if you can organize your Hippo to take advantage of its high attack power and Bloodlust, it can be very powerful. To be more specific, if you can create a situation where you can hit without being attacked during Equal Opportunity or Melee Mayhem rules, you will be very strong.

So, let's take a look at the battle in detail.

My formation is a big operation in which Mr. Hippo bludgeons the enemy's weakest monsters to death in turn. Hippo-san does it while my army's monsters with 2 and 3 HP are targeted.

Equal Oppotunity rules, so Venari will be defeated first. That will enhance the JARED SCAR and CELESTIAL HARPYR. Next, NIMBLEDOOK EXPLORER would be targeted.

Hippo will become very strong in the meantime. 🤠

My opponent's Summoner is KELYA, so it's hard to beat him with +1 Armor. The HP is just right for a long-range attack monster. It's a good match, just like Hippo's attack comes in just after cracking Armor by counterattack. 😏

Hippo's power is so great that if you enter an opponent without Armor, you can take him down in one shot and strengthen yourself, making you untouchable. Bloodlust increases his attack power and speed, so if you take down two of them, you will be untouchable.

But, as I said, this hippopotamus is not just any hippopotamus. To be precise, he is a Dhampir, born between a vampire and a hippopotamus. I see, so that's why he is Boodlust. If anyone wants to know more, please read Lore on the card.

I personally wanted to push GARGOYA LION on this forgotten card theme, but I couldn't get a good active battle log. I'm sure you'll get the idea.

GARGOYA LION, at lvl. 5, learns to use Void, which halves the damage of magic. Furthermore, he has the ability to fly, so he can avoid earthquakes, and his ability to avoid melee attacks is also improved.

He is very easy to use and inexpensive. I really wanted to make him work!

元祖カバさんと言えば サモナーの GENERAL SLOAN かな？それ以前にカバさんがいたかどうかわからないけど彼女の印象はとっても強かった。

その後にリワードカードで出た超強つよカバさんが JARED SCAR です。なんといってもBloodlustアビリティが強力。なのですが。攻撃力は5もあるけどHPは5しかありません。アーマーはあるけどスピードは2しかないので殴る前に殴られてしまいます。

そのせいか案外使われているところを見ないんですよね。やっぱり耐久力的に先頭に置くとすぐに倒れてしまうのが問題なんでしょうね。

しかしそんなカバさんですが、高い攻撃力とBloodlustを活かした編成が出来ればとても強力です。具体的に言えば Equal Opportunity や Melee Mayhem ルールの際に攻撃を受けずに殴れる状況を作れれば強いのです。

ということで、具体的にバトルを見てみますよ。

私の編成はHPが2と3のモンスターが倒されている間に敵の弱いものから順にカバさんが撲殺する大作戦です。

Equal Oppotunityルールなので、まずVenariが倒されて JARED SCAR と CELESTIAL HARPYR が強化されます。次は NIMBLEDOOK EXPLORER が狙われることになりますね。

その間にカバさんが太るはず。🤠

対戦相手はサモナーが KELYA なのでArmorが+1されて倒しずらいのですが。遠距離攻撃モンスターがちょうどいい感じのHPですね。反撃でArmorを割った後にちょうどカバさんの攻撃が入る感じの好相性です。😏

カバさんのパワーが凄いのでArmorが無い相手に入れば一発で倒せる上に自分を強化できるので手が付けられなくなります。Bloodlustで攻撃力もスピードも上がるので2体も倒せば手を付けられなくなります。

話は変わりますが、このカバさんはただカバではないのです。正確に言えば 吸血鬼とカバさんの間に生まれた Dhampir らしいのですよ。なるほど、それでBoodlustなのですね。詳しく知りたい人がいたらカードのLoreを読んでくださいね。

今回の忘れられたカードというテーマで個人的には GARGOYA LION を押したかったのですがうまく活躍するバトルログが取れませんでした。🥲

この GARGOYA LION さん、Lv5になればVoidを覚えるので魔法を半減できるようになります。さらにはFlying能力があるので地震も回避できて近接攻撃の回避力も上がります。

とても使いやすく、さらにはお値段もお安いのです。是非活躍させてやりたかったー！
