Bicycle balance, science and life stories.
Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all. I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. Today I want to tell you a little about my opinion about bikes. Bikes are a technology that we are all familiar with. We all know how to ride a bike because we were taught to do so since childhood, and we love remembering that moment. Here I am trying to say something that combines science and my personal experience. The primary purpose of a bicycle can actually be described in very simple terms. When we pedal, the energy enters the wheels through the chain. Here, the vehicle is propelled by the energy of our legs. This is an interesting model of energy conversion.
Another thing is balance. A stability is created when the wheels turn. As a result, the bicycle does not fall easily. We are able to stand slightly to the right or left on our side to achieve balance. Brakes also have scientific laws. The speed is reduced by the friction between the wheel and the brake pad. Again, the faster we ride, the greater the air resistance. This is why competitors ride their bikes with their bodies lowered, as if the air pressure has decreased. I was first taught to ride a bicycle in school. I stumbled several times and my knees hurt, but I gradually learned to steady myself. The first time I cycled alone somewhere far away, I felt like I could actually do something great.
I cycle occasionally. When I go out on the road in the morning, the surroundings and the cool air give me a different peace. My body also feels lighter. Cycling is good exercise, develops my legs and keeps my mind in good shape. The most advantageous aspect of it is that the environment is not damaged. For me, a bicycle is not only suitable as a means of transportation; it is a symbol of happiness and freedom. It is completely integrated into our lives, just as science works within it.
