Approach:

In Up Close and Personal battles, where only Melee cards are allowed, the key is to collect a variety of cards. While it's natural to prioritize cards with abilities like Sneak or Melee buffs, I believe that speed is a crucial element. In this article, I'd like to discuss each unit based on a game where prioritizing speed led to victory.

Practical Example:

DIEMONSHARK:

Unfortunately a level 1 card, but it boasts sufficient speed and durability.

FLYING SQUID:

This unit attacks from the second row and possesses decent speed and health.

DEEPLURKER:

Surprisingly high health and attack power make this card highly recommended.

DEMENTED SHARK:

Provides an attack buff. Since it's effective even at level 1, it's a card worth purchasing.

PELACOR BANDIT:

Potentially the most impactful in this battle. With high attack power, speed, and the ability to fly, it's a perfect fit for the rear guard. The shield granted by Vega's ability adds to its reliability.

COASTAL SENTRY:

Positioned in the rear with high speed and health.

Although the opponent's cards were of higher levels, a victory was achieved. While the opponent wasn't lacking in speed, concentrating too much on Sneak in the rear guard seemed to work against them. It's a balanced battle where the outcome can sway with each match.

考え方
Up Close and PersonalではMeleeのカードに限られるため、色々なカードを集めておくのが大切です。Sneakなどどの配置からも攻撃できるカードやMeleeのバフが必要なのは当然ですが、じつはスピードが非常に大切な要素だと考えています。今回はスピードを重視して勝利することができたゲームを題材に、各ユニットの説明をしたいと思います。

実践例

DRYBONE BARBARIAN
残念ながらレベル１のカードですが、十分なスピードと耐久力があります。

PRISMATIC ENERGY
これも２列目からの攻撃に加え、ある程度のスピードと体力があるユニットです。

URIEL THE PURIFIER
意外と体力が高く、攻撃力も高いのでオススメです。

ADELADE BRIGHTWING
攻撃のバフです。レベル１でもよいので１枚は購入すべきカードでしょう。

DJINN RENOVA
今回一番活躍したかもしれません。高い攻撃力とスピードに加えて、飛行のアビリティも持っているため後衛にピッタリです。Vegaの能力でシールドが与えられるのも非常に頼もしいです。

SUPPLY RUNNER
高いスピードと体力で後衛に配置しました。

相手のカードの方がレベルが高かったのですが、なんとか勝利することができました。相手もスピードでは劣っていないですが、後衛にSneakを集中させすぎていたため、今回の私の配置とは相性が良くなかったのだと思います。勝負の度に勝敗が変わるような、拮抗した戦いになっていると思います。
