GWEN, the Card Seller | Splinterlands Art Contest Week 348

Hi everyone,
After last joining the Splinterlands art challenge in Week 280, this time I'm back with a character that I think is rarely recognized, yet iconic in its own way.
The character is inspired by a page in Gwen’s Glint Shop.

So, I tried to reimagine and present the character in my own style.
First, I started with a rough sketch of the design.

Then, I created the base lines and applied the base colors.

After finalizing the line art and applying flat colors to the character,

I added shading to give it depth and started coloring the shop table.

Next, I merged the elements and refined the coloring while enhancing the shadows.

I worked on the shop background and added some blur effects to create a softer, dreamy atmosphere.

I also added an extra design element: a card chest. I left the card space empty at first, planning to fill it later with a Splinterlands card design.

Then I placed the card design inside the chest and added a Splinterlands necklace—just like in the original character.

Lastly, I added more blur effects to enhance the dim lighting and overall mood.
And that’s my design for this week’s Splinterlands art challenge!
Thank you so much for all your support!
