The "Oridum Graybrow"

Hi splinterfarm,

The last time I made a blog post about splinterlands was exactly 19 days ago. Does it mean within this time I stopped playing spl? hell naa. Spl as I've always said has become a part of my daily routine. The only time I don't play is when I am not well or I am either on the road or hasn't been at home all day. Apart from these scenarios, I play the game all the time. Now, after the release of the conclave arcana cards I had to pivot to wild and I must say that I wasn't enjoying it as much as I enjoyed playing in the modern league.

Some of the reasons being the earning power in the wild league is super low and if you've been a regular player of the modern league you wouldn't enjoy playing in the wild league. So as I didn't like the wild league I had to go hunting for a scholar account and luckily I got one. I've been fortunate enough that the owner of that account has delegated very good cards to that account and has also delegated some good amount of sps as well. If I am being truthful I think that account hasn't lasted beyond 2 months and I've been able to reach champion III with it. As usual getting to champion was not an easy task as I've faced steep competition along the way. I've also come across cards that I have sincerely never seen before. This can also be contributed to the fact that they just released the conclave arcana cards and one is sure to have never come across all the cards before.

Today I will like to talk about one particular card that I like so much. With a game like this there are obviously more cards that you'll like but I want to talk about this game changer card. This card is called the Oridum Graybrow. The Oridum Graybrow is a fire element melee card. At the max level of 4 it has 7 mana with 4 melee attack. It has 6 shield, 5 health and 4 speed. Now I don't like this particular card just because of it's stats I like it because of it's abilities. This is a card that has 5 abilities at max health, some of which we know of already and some which are new. Let us look at the new abilities.

These new abilities are resurgence and spite. Spite means that when the card is defeated it has a 100% chance to counter attack. This can also mean that when the card is defeated it will attack the killer card before dying. The resurgence also means that it self resurrects once per battle. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Skips turn. Deals one physical damage to all units. What this also means is that when this card has been defeated it will resurrect with all of its abilities and stats but it will skip its attack in that particular round. All enemy cards will suffer one health damage to their cards.

So the resurgence and spite works hand in hand. What this ultimately helps you do is that it'll help your other cards be ahead. This card also has the thorns ability and then the magic reflect and piecing. So the best position for this type of card is the first position as you will enjoy it being there with all this amazing abilities. Do you want to know where else you can place it? The second position. As a second position card with a card that has the flank ability.

This is one of my favorite cards at the moment.
