Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - A High Mana Game Is What I Love

source
Hi guys,
It’s another week of splinterlands content with me. For your information, I’ve been killing it in wild and am almost getting into silver I for the first time in my splinterlands career. Modern format has become harder for me after the removal of some of my favourite cards from the modern format so I’ve had resort to the wild league.
If you’ve had the chance to read some of my battle mage posts you’ll realize that I love battles with very high mana. The reason being I have very good cards with high mana sitting in the life element so with this opportunity I don’t let it pass me by.
So with a 99 mana battle I think it was the ideal match for me.
The Rulesets for the game was close range and equal opportunity.
With close range; ranged attacks may be used int first position.
With equal opportunity; all monsters have the opportunity ability which means all monsters can attack from any position and will attack monsters with the lowest health first.
With this in mind I didn’t fear about putting a range card in any position as it will still perform its normal functions.
My line up
Summoner | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th |

So with this in mind I went in for the usual ulundin overseer as my first position card. With this card I have a card with a lot of health and shield and it also grants my second card thr reach ability which didn’t matter cause we already had the opportunity ability.
My next card was the bera dallin. A card I’ve grown to appreciate so much in games like this as well.
The next one was my legendary iziar and then captain Katie was next in line to compliment this great line up.
The two remaining cards were pelacor arbalest and war pegasus; one which attacks twice in each round and the other which shatters shield.
It was a fairly easy round one for me as I vanquished one of his strongest cards. There was still more work to do though but it was great getting to that card.
In round two he quickly sort after my bera dallin and it was killed easily. I wasn’t surprised as it was the go to target from the start of the game.

It was a moment of happiness for me as Katie was able to vanquish one of my opponents cards and get the blood lust feature activated. When this happens it becomes easy for Katie to kill a lot more cards. Izar did its part by making sure to get rid of one of the two remaining cards of my opponent as well.

In round 5 Katie finished off my opponent’s Drybone barbarian and that was it. An easy battle for me cause of a lot of mana.

With the mix of rebellion and chaos cards I find it easier to play high mana battles this days.

Oh I won’t lie it’s a good game considering it’s a card game. You would actually love it when you get into it and getting addicted is the first step to success🙂🤣
