Splinterlands Season Wrap-Up

Hi splinter family,

Welcome to my weekly doze of splinterlands content. So far so good things are going on well the season just ended and for the second time in a row I was able to make well over 100k glint. The first time I earned 100k glint from seasonal rewards was last season and since then I’ve set it as a goal to get well over 100k glint each season. For me, this has been the season where I’ve been less active on spl. I say this cause I got caught up doing a few things.

Even my blog felt it was I made fewer post in the past 7 days. So my playing time decreased as well last season. But what I like is that my energy was no where new 50 at a point in time which meant I made sure to play until the last energy each time I had the chance to play. I was able to finish the last energy before this season ended as well.

Each season I am able to add about 1k sps to my sps balance. I do this through normal battles, brawls and also tournaments. This season I didn’t play any tournaments so that income wasn’t there. I played brawls like I usually do as well. The win ratio was down last season as well. I can attribute that to the diamond league. Yes, I do earn more sps and more glint per win in diamond but then I loose more games when I am in diamond than I do when I am in gold . This season I spent most of my time in diamond III so it was hard winning games. There were time that I lost more than 6 games in a row and this forced me to stopped playing for sometime.

You know the diamond league is also closed to the champion league. This also means that we have more seasoned players there, players who have better deck as well. All this contributed to me loosing a lot in diamond. Even though I lost a lot I was also able to learn a few tricks on the way.

Spending Glint

So for the longest time I’ve had two ways of spending my glint. The first one is the one I get from playing daily is mostly used in buying chest. The reason why I buy these chests is that I hope that I get more energy which I can use to play.

The seasonal glint that u earn is used primarily for buying rarity common draws. With rarity common draws they cost 200 glint for the first batch. Most of the time I am able to buy them in two batches. When this happens I get loads of rebellion reward cards which I combine each season. I’ve not been able to max out a single card yet but things are well on their way.

For now I have 2 cards which are at level 9 and a couple of cards at level 8. I know it’ll take some time before I can max them out. The thing is I have max level summoners so I can only enjoy using this rebellion cards if I am able to max them out.

I also have a few gold ones which are already at level 5 to my surprise. But then you know that it takes lesser cards to level up gold cards so it’s all good.

SPS

The bulls are back and sps is also feeling it. The price is sps is 0.01 per sps now and not a lot of us are surprised. We keep on holding on and playing so we can get more and more staked sps. Last I updated that I have well over 7k sps now. I was hoping that I could make it 8k by the ending of the season but I was about 200 sps short of 8k. With the way things are going I am sure I’ll be over 8k before we cross half way of the new season.

My goal for the end of the year is 10k from playing daily. With the way things are going if I am able to up my game and win more games then I am sure I’ll get to this number before the year ends. If I am able to do that and all things go according to plan then 2025 will be a massive year for me. I’ll have a bigger goal which I’ll probably hit before 2025 ends as well.
