Splinterlands Engagement Challenge

Hi splinter fam,

Welcome to my blog for another entry into the splinterlands contest. This time round its an entry into the engagement challenge contest. A few days ago I made a post about one of my games and how it went. For me, its mostly about games that I win and the only times that I write about games that I have lost are ones that have great lessons in them.

Apart from that I always like to write about games that I have won. So yeah, if you read most of my social media entry posts you'll realize that it mostly has a pattern of games that I have won only.

So this week i did something that ive been proud of and it will be unlike me to talk about it. This week i managed to put in a lot of games. I think the last time I made it into diamond one was a few months ago. This week I was able to make it into diamond 1. After making it there I realized that its been a long time since I made it into that league. The rewards I earned from there made me to instantly realize It and boy did I enjoy it. My sps win was now in double figures even though I was winning way less games than when I was in diamond II and diamond III.

Today I'll like to talk about one of my favorite card combos. One thing about spl is that, the moment things start working out for you its better you stick to it. Stick to it for as long as it works. Many a time it'll work and wont work out in a few situations cause your opponent will figure you out before the game starts or just have better players.

Apart from the fire element, one other element that I love so much is the water element. When it comes to the water element I have this two cards combo that I'll always take with me to battle. In some cases it works and in some they dont.

One card that I always turn to is the warwall juggernaut card. This is a water card with crazy stats. It has 9 health so some might say its not advisable to use it with small mana. Ill say its pretty good in the small mana league.

You just need it in addition to another melee card in first position and you're good to go. It has the reach ability which makes it the perfect card for second place. It has armored strike which gives you the 60% surety that it'll attack with its full armored strike. It also has the fury which is so so good. It has 4 melee attack, 5 shield, 12 health and 3 speed. This stats are enough to get up to more than one strike in the game.

With this card in mind its always better to go for the dragon summoner which grants the ambush ability. This helps the card have time to attack before the match starts. Also have in mind that it'll definitely use its armored strike and then its melee attack to make an attack before the match starts eventually.

With this you're 1-0 in the gane before it even begins.
