Conclave Arcana

So the conclave arcana presale has successfully begun and in 15 days it’ll come to an end. What does this mean? This simply menas that you have enough time to look for funds if you have any lying down somewhere to participate in the presale.

This conclave arcana promises to bring a whole new era to the splinterlands game. In last weeks post I spoke about how the conclave arcana cards is going to impact my game and how it’ll take a drastic turn in events for me.

I already spoke about how most of my cards are chaos legion set so it means I might have to eventually pivot into wild league if I am not able to get my hands on conclave arcana packs. Again, I do have rebellion cards but they aren’t enough for me to be competitive enough in modern.

One nice thing for me is that I’ll still have some time to compete in modern before my cards are rolled out into wild only. So incase you didn’t know there is a presale leaderboard and you know that there will be rewards for people who make it to the top of the leaderboard so let’s get it.

This presale consists of 4 parts. The packs are grouped into 4 parts which are the starter packs, standard packs, alchemy packs and legendary packs. Of all this four options one can only purchase standard, alchemy and legendary packs. The starter packs are not currently available for this presale. A starter pack will be up for sale after this presale ends. It’ll cost 1000 dec which is approximately 1 dollar. A starter pack contains 5 common or rare cards. You’re guaranteed to get at 1 rare card. In this starter packs you won’t get gold and black foil cards in the pack.

This is unlike the previous sales where you could be lucky to pull a gold foil from a pack. All packs cost the same in other sales of packs as well so that was the case.

The standard packs are available in this presale. It’ll cost you 4000 dec which is approximately 3.7 dollars. In a standard pack you will get 5 cards. You’re guaranteed to get 1 rare or better cards. This means

In the alchemy packs you get 5 cards we well. You’re guaranteed of 5 cards and you’re guaranteed of getting 1 rare or better card. You’re also guaranteed of 1 gold foil as well. An alchemy pack will cost you 12000 dec which is approximately 11 dollars.

With legendary packs you’re guaranteed of getting 1 legendary card. The legendary pack cost 24000 Dec which is approximately 22 dollars.

Why this change? Well, there are some people who don’t like common cards so this presale helps them filter out what they want and what they do not want. Legendary cards cost more in the game so a legendary pack will obviously cost more.

Let also take a look at the arkana skin walker card. I don't know who came up with this name but I do like it. The arkana skinwalker is a neutral card which means it can be used with any of the elements in splinterlands.At max level it has 3 magic attack, 6 health, 3 speed and 4 shield. With a mana of 8 it might be difficult to call upon when you have low mana for a particular battle.

It comes with 3 old elements which are the inspire, camouflage and silence. It comes with an all new ability called the shapeshift. This is a new ability which a lot is not known about it yet. In the definition spl says it means "treated as all bloodlines". I've never come across such an ability so it will be quite difficult to explain what it can do. Let's see what it'll do when conclave arcana is finally playable.
