Last Season Summary And Great Start to the New Season - Buying and Opening Epic Draws & Major Chests | Splinterlands

Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day. Another great season in Splinterlands has come to an end. Last season I only played in Modern format and finished in Gold I. I fought to unlock Diamond III but I didn't succeed and stayed in Gold I, my opponents were very powerful and the battles were quite tough in Modern, honestly I can say that finishing in Gold I despite the difficulties was also an achievement. Also, even though I was in Gold I, I was matched with players from the Diamond League and defeated some of them. At the end of the season I got 94945 Glint as a reward, which is almost double the amount from the previous season and the most Glint rewards I have ever earned in a season. Even though I couldn't advance to the Diamond League, I can say that last season was profitable and fun for me.

After the season ended, I bought 50 Major Chests for 50,000 Glint and 6 Epic Draws for 45,000 Glint from the rewards shop to try my luck, and I'm opening them all;

I got 8 Epic cards, 5 Rare cards, 37 Common cards, 4794 Merits and 33 Energy from Chests and Draws. Even though I couldn't get a legendary card, I can say that I am happy with my rewards, especially getting 33 Energy was amazing, but it will not be easy to reduce my energy below 50 and I will have to do a lot of battles today.

While I was creating the post, I also entered battles to reduce my energy and won a lot of them to unlock Gold II. And I still have 64 Energy.

I will fight until I reduce my energy to 40, which means I will fight at least 24 more battles. I had a great start to the new season and unlocked Gold II in a few hours, who knows, maybe today I will even manage to unlock Gold I.

We get chest rewards for unlocking each higher league, which I think is really cool to get extra rewards and adds a different excitement to the game. And today I got 5 Major and 8 Minor chest rewards for unlocking Gold II and here is what I got from the 13 chests;

I got 12 more reward cards from the chests, it was really a great start to the new season for me. By playing more carefully in the new season, I aim to advance to the Diamond League and get more Glint rewards, I hope I can achieve my goal. I really enjoy playing Splinterlands, and I play it almost every day because I really love this game.
