Epic Pulls and Sweet Wins: Brawl Highlights This Week

Hello everyone, welcome back to my Splinterlands post.

This time I want to share my fun experience joining a Brawl with my beloved guild, ClaNFT. For those who might be new, a Brawl is basically a guild-vs-guild battle in Splinterlands, where each member fills a fray and fights in specific formats. The rewards are quite good, especially if your guild manages to reach the top spots. And this week, ClaNFT actually finished in first place.

Pretty proud moment, but honestly, my personal results were a bit mixed. Out of all my battles, I ended up with 5 wins and 3 losses, which put my total points at 15.

Even though it wasn’t perfect, there were still some results that made me smile. From that contribution, I earned 2,450 Merits plus 32.013 SPS. Not bad, right? What made it even more exciting was that my total merits were finally enough to open 4 Gladius packs. It felt just like waiting for a gacha pull—nervous but excited at the same time when clicking the “open pack” button.

And the results were pretty motivating:

• In the second pack, I got a surprise: MARISOL CONTUMA appeared along with 2 other rare cards. My smile widened instantly, since Marisol was actually one of the gladiators I’d been aiming for.
• Then, in the fourth pack, another epic card showed up: TRAPP FALLOWAY. That really made the whole pack opening feel totally worth it.

From those pulls, I also managed to upgrade a few cards:

• CUTTER BRIEZE finally reached level 5.
• MARISOL CONTUMA got upgraded to level 3.

These upgrades definitely make my gladiator collection more prepared for the next Brawl.

Looking back, I think the most exciting part of joining Brawls isn’t just the rewards, but the sense of teamwork within the guild. We fight side by side, fill in the frays, and support each other. For new players, joining a guild and playing Brawls regularly is actually one of the fastest ways to learn strategy, since you’re pushed to try different rulesets and also get to see how your guildmates build their lineups. There’s this competitive yet communal vibe that makes learning much more fun.

Honestly, I always feel a mix of nerves and excitement every time I join a Brawl. Nervous because I might mess up my lineup, but excited because it’s a chance to test my strategies. And even from losses, there’s always a lesson—whether it’s about monster positioning, summoner choice, or just the timing of trying a certain combo.

To wrap this up, I just want to say: don’t hesitate to join a guild and try Brawls. It might feel confusing at first, but over time you’ll see big progress. The Merits and Gladius packs can also open the door to special cards you can’t get from the market. And most importantly: don’t be afraid of losing, because every battle is a learning opportunity.
