🧾 SPS DAO Treasurer Application – royaleagle

Hello SPS community,

I'm royaleagle, and I'm applying for a treasurer position with the SPS DAO.

🔹 Background & Experience
I've been part of the Splinterlands ecosystem since before the cards even had stats. Over the years, I've grown alongside the game and the community, and today I manage the Splinterlands support department, where I oversee our team budget, assist players with issue resolution, and ensure that prizes and compensation, often worth thousands of dollars, are correctly distributed.

In addition, I'm an active player, run an SPS validator node, and have a strong understanding of the DAO’s infrastructure and needs. As part of my responsibilities, I'm often one of the first people to notice when a DAO bridge runs low or goes offline. This has positioned me uniquely to respond quickly and help resolve those issues in collaboration with the rest of the team and the community.

🔹 Why I'm Applying
I was encouraged to run for treasurer because I'm always online and available, and I already play a key role in alerting the team when operational issues arise, especially related to DAO-managed wallets. My goal as treasurer is simple: to help ensure smoother, faster resolution of issues affecting the community by providing continuity, availability, and integrity to treasury operations.

🔹 Skills & Qualifications
Multisig Familiarity: I've personally created training materials on using multisig, securing keys, and understanding on-chain activity.

Transparency & Accountability: My role in support requires careful documentation, trust, and precise financial management skills directly applicable to managing DAO funds.

Trusted Representative: I’m KYC-verified, publicly known, and serve in a leadership role at Splinterlands. I already manage customer service budgets and am comfortable handling DAO treasury responsibilities.
