Hola hivers, un placer compartir con ustedes una vez más. En esta ocasión les comparto mi perspectiva de los nuevos cambios de splinterlands. Desde el punto de vista de alguien que tenía un año sin jugar y se encuentra con un juego bastante cambiado.

Empecemos.

Primeramente tengo que decirles que comencé jugando el juego el año pasado más o menos una semana antes de que dejarán de dar recompensas DEC en la liga novato. Tuve poco tiempo para adaptarme, con las recompensas que obtenía comencé a alquilar y no tenía ni idea de cómo funcionaba. Solo alquilaba la que a mi parecer era más poderosa y perdía terriblemente. Daba bastante pena sinceramente 😂 recuerdo que mi primera carta alquilada era de elemento fuego, no me sirvió de mucho.

Hello hivers, a pleasure to share with you once again. This time I share with you my perspective of the new splinterlands changes. From the point of view of someone who had a year without playing and finds a game quite changed.

Let's start.

First of all I have to tell you that I started playing the game last year about a week before they stopped giving DEC rewards in the rookie league. I had little time to adjust, with the rewards I was getting I started renting and I had no idea how it worked. I just rented the one that I thought was the most powerful and lost terribly. It was quite pitiful honestly 😂 I remember that my first rented card was fire element, it didn't do me much good.

Cuando le fui agarrando práctica al juego, comencé a buscar cuál era mi fuerte. Allí aprendí del elemento agua y su poderosa magia, era impresionante. Mataba mis cartas sin consideración. Me fui por ese elemento y se convirtió en mi favorito. Con las estrategias de @splinterdany del elemento agua gané muchas partidas. Eso por supuesto en Bronce III.

Dejan de dar recompensas en Bronce III la cosa se me puso difícil. Tuve que alquilar cartas que subieran el poder y con mis cartas de agua no era suficiente. Llegué a Bronce II. Mi estrategia tenía que ser más variada y los contrincantes eran más difíciles de vencer. Las reglas me complicaron todo. Tenía una estrategia para tal batalla y con las reglas hacía que ciertas cartas no funcionarán como debían. Allí era una verdadera novata. Me di cuenta que no sabía absolutamente nada.

Terminé dejándolo al tiempo puesto que no tenía tiempo para jugar. El trabajo, la universidad. Todo era demasiado y no pude sacar tiempo. No jugué más.

When I was getting practice at the game, I began to look for what my forte was. There I learned about the water element and its powerful magic, it was impressive. It killed my cards without consideration. I went for that element and it became my favorite. With @splinterdany's water element strategies I won many games. That of course in Bronze III.

They stop giving rewards in Bronze III the thing became difficult for me. I had to rent cards that raised the power and with my water cards was not enough. I reached Bronze II. My strategy had to be more varied and the opponents were harder to beat. The rules complicated everything for me. I had a strategy for such a battle and the rules meant that certain cards did not work as they should. I was a real novice there. I realized that I knew absolutely nothing.

I ended up quitting eventually since I didn't have time to play. Work, college. It was all too much and I couldn't make time. I didn't play anymore.

En lo que si seguí, fue en hive. Seguí publicando y comentando, siempre me aparecían publicaciones de splinterlands por obvias razones y me llegó la nostalgia. Porque la realidad era que me divertía mucho. Así que hace unos días volví a descargarlo. Esta vez por diversión; no por rentabilidad. Vaya sorpresa me llevé.

Siempre me mantuve al corriente de los cambios. Habían nuevas cartas. Cambiaron las cartas del Spellbook. Las recompensas cambiaron. Todo eso lo sabía más no lo había experimentado. Increíble.

Lo que más me impresionó fue el elemento de agua. Ya no era portador de magia si no de ataque. El invocador de magia nivel 1 ahora es costoso de alquilar. Las cartas tenían mucha vida. Antes, las de magia eran poderosas pero tenían poca vida. Ahora el portador principal de magia es el elemento tierra. Necesitas más de 25 de mana para aprovechar al máximo tus cartas de tierra. Las cartas de vida tienen irónicamente poca vida y se concentran en arqueros, sin embargo todavía conservan su tanque. Elemento fuego sigue siendo de ataque con cartas añadidas que debo decir muy buenas. Muerte sigue teniendo poca vida sin embargo ahora el Spellbook posee una carta con la habilidad de espinas muy conveniente si se sabe usar.

What I did follow, was hive. I kept posting and commenting, I always got splinterlands posts for obvious reasons and I got nostalgic. Because the reality was that I was having a lot of fun. So a few days ago I downloaded it again. This time for fun; not for profitability. What a surprise I got.

I always kept up with the changes. There were new cards. The Spellbook cards changed. The rewards changed. I knew all that but I hadn't experienced it. Unbelievable.

What impressed me the most was the water element. It was no longer a magic carrier but an attack carrier. The level 1 magic summoner was now expensive to rent. The cards had a lot of life. Before, the magic ones were powerful but had little life. Now the main magic carrier is the earth element. You need more than 25 mana to get the most out of your earth cards. Life cards have ironically low life and focus on archers, however they still retain their tank. Fire element is still attacking with added cards which I must say are very good. Death is still low on life, however the Spellbook now has a card with a thorn ability that is very convenient if you know how to use it.

Los cambios han sido bastantes pero he podido sobrellevarlo por eso publicaré mi progreso aquí de esta primera temporada después de un año sin jugar. Esta temporada me mantendré en Bronce III y la siguiente si subiré a Bronce II. Al final de temporada veremos hasta donde llego.

The changes have been quite a lot but I have been able to cope with it so I will post my progress here of this first season after a year without playing. This season I will stay in Bronze III and next season I will move up to Bronze II. At the end of the season we will see how far I get.
