A Crazy Look Into NFTs' Biggest Star: Bored Ape NAZI Club...?

This shit is cray.

I'd seen a post from Daniel Pinchbeck a couple days ago promoting his latest blog post, "Is Bored Apes Yacht Club a Thinly Veiled Racist, Alt Right / Neo-Nazi “Dog Whistle”?"

At first, I dismissed it. While I've liked some of Pinchbeck's perspectives over the years, I grew out of favor for much of his vibe as it became increasingly clear he tends to lean quite far to the political left, to the point of arrogance and gaslighting - so simply thought the "racist, alt-right, neo-nazi" terminology was some hogwash, and carried on about my business.

However, shortly after, a documentary on YouTube popped into my field discussing the same thing. And as I tend to be going ADHD and prefer listening to videos at 2x over reading these days, it went on the Watch List as figured it might actually be worth trying out, given how BAYC has been such a KEY project in the NFT domain.

And holy fuck.

I'm not gonna draw conclusions, but this is definitely an interesting watch for anyone into crypto & NFTs as gives an absolutely fascinating perspective on the whole phenomenon of the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

Whether it's merely theory or an accurate narration of the covert background behind the notorious NFT project... you gotta admit it's all a profound expression of creativity through-and-through. 😳
