Terracore and Splinterlands - Reached 98% win ratio and checking my Splinterlands account after a long time

Hello everyone,
How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

In my terracore base we are being given the penalties again even though it feels like I upgraded the stats yesterday only. Anyways, I have to upgrade them and as usual I will be upgrading the damage and nothing else and before I do that you can take a look at my old set of stats below.

I upgraded my stats and also used 5 attacks which did not went so well and that is why it is better not to share them for today. But there is still something good which is worth sharing and that is my battle log ratios. You can see in the screenshot below that I have 98% win ratio now and only 2% lose ratio.

I have lost only 207 scraps in last 200 battles which means that I have lost only 1 scrap per battle and won around 50 scraps per battle. They are some great stats which I have never achieved before though I doubt until when I will be able to hold on to these good numbers but I can see them at least for this moment.

You can see above that I also opened Splinterlands today after a long time but I am confused about what has happened during the time I was away from the game. I know my info is outdated and I could not see my cards and I remember I had at least 400 cards but they are the old style cards.

Will anyone like to suggest me about the cards I should buy or maybe if buying a card pack is better option I will go with that. I am going to start playing the game again very soon. Oh, I forget to tell that I also have 10 chaos legion card packs with me but I don't know if they are useful anymore.

See above, I at least have those packs and maybe I can open them to get up to 50 cards if I remember well. I will also explore by myself to see what else has changed and update about the same in one of my blogs soon.
