Terracore and Splinterlands - It was a Unlucky day for Card Openings and My new stats!

How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

Today, I decided to try my luck once again at the cards opening in Splinterlands. We were lucky last time as we got a legendary as well as few epic cards. We also got a Gold foil cards if you remember and so I was expecting something similar today but let's see if we were actually lucky or not with the card openings today.

I had 5 Chaos legion cards left with me at Hive engine so I sent them to the game and these were bought for 4X times the current value two years back. The price was 4 hive per pack at that time but right now it is quite less.

In no time we received the packs in the game as you can see below.

What was the next thing to do here? Well I first both 25 potions each so that the chances for our gold foil card as well as the legendary card will improve as they have helped me in the past and together these 50 potions costed me $2 so I was scared if I will actually be able to make up to that value with card openings.

And then I got a moment to try as you can see in the screenshot below that the openings went really bad for me. I did not even got a single legendary cards in those 25 cards . I got only two epic cards and nothing else so it means it was a bad day for me at opening the cards.

The value of my total cards before opening the 5 chaos legion packs can be seen below.

The value after those 25 cards were added to the deck can be seen below. Not even a dollar was added in the value, how sad.

Let us now talk about my my terracore base. I was given penalties once again as 5 days have passed and you get penalty if you don't upgrade anything in your base for 5 continuous days. Below you can see my old stats.

I upgraded damage as always but this time I have also upgraded my defense to see if it will have a impact for my terracore base in anyway. I know one level might not be enough to give me a boost in defending the attacks but still I will observe and see for some benefits, if possible.

In the screenshot above you are seeing the attacks done immediately after upgrading the base. The results? I actually don't pay attention to them as at the end of the day it is we playing the game for no financial benefit directly. I will have a look at my battle log soon.
