Splinterlands - Fighting Pembrook Nymph in an epic battle that annihilated my monsters and attacks from terracore

How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

Today, we gave another attempt to Splinterland battles, and as you can see in the screenshot below, the battle had a 29 mana cost. Apart from that, there were no special rules everything was normal. I decided to choose the nature element for this battle.

While I was building my team, I kept wondering if I was going to win the battle today or not. Once I was ready, I proceeded, and it kept loading for a while. After some time, I saw I was awarded the victory maybe because the opponent left the battle.

So, I searched for a new opponent, and this time the mana cost was 41. I chose the dragon summoner, and in the screenshot below, you can see both my monsters and summoner as well as my opponent’s. Looking at them, I felt a bit scared because the opponent’s monsters had multiple abilities, while mine had only a few.

Her summoner’s name was Pembrook Nymph, and I am not really sure what she is capable of, but you can check the screenshot below to see the abilities she has.

Her first monster gave me nightmares because it was incredibly strong I cannot think of a stronger first monster than this one. Her name was Anyu Huntswoman. She had 5 attack power, 8 health, 6 defense, shield, 4 speed, all for just 7 mana cost and if that was not enough, she also had two impressive abilities.

The first was Flank, which means if she is in the first position at the start of the battle, the unit in the second position gains Reach a really interesting ability. The second was Void Armor, which helps the monster prevent attacks directly hitting its health by absorbing the first magic damage with armor.

After seeing that team, I knew right away I was not going to win it just was not my day. In the screenshot below, you can clearly see that I could not even defeat a single monster from the opponent’s team.

It was a big humiliation for me I have never lost a battle like this before. Kudos to the opponent for bringing such a fantastic team. I do not know if they saw my previous battles because if they had, I do not think they would have come up with such a strong lineup. Anyway, I lost.

The screenshot below shows what defeat looks like. But honestly, I feel like a warrior just for getting to battle such an awesome player. One day, I am going to take my revenge maybe I will.

A very tough day for me at Splinterlands though I am use to losing battles but this was a big humiliation for me today and I will remember it for days. Below are my terracore base atttack that I did just before I started writing this blog and so I am sharing that with all of you as well.

I don't feel anything for these attacks after what already happened to me in the Splinterlands, I think I will rent the cards sooner than I was planning.
