Splinterlands : Fighting Drybone Megalodon in the very first battle from new season

Hello everyone,
how are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

A new season in Splinterlands has started and now I have got all my cards back to play with once again. So we head over to the battle arena for the very first time in this new season. You can see we had enough of MANA cost for this battle with 42 max.

We both came with the fire summoner as you can see in the screenshot below. The fire team is one of the best team I have but it is not applicable for the new monsters as you can already see below. There are Magic attacks on most of the monsters on opponent team and it is going to harm me a lot.

The first position was drybone megalodon and it does not have any special ability to be bother about. Mine was a legendary monster with 5 attack power but because of the magic monsters I was already afraid of the opponent monster.

Though the summoner we both used is very common I have still shared about her in the screenshot below. She is Tarsa that gives +1 health and melee attack.

Round 2 both of us lost our first card as you can see below. I just rechecked that I lost two monsters there and the defeat for me came nearer to me. I felt bad but well I continued the battle and did not skipped it as I wanted to see what would be the scenario in final round for me.

That below is my last round and I was left with just one monster and the opponent team still had five of them. Clearly he was the better player and that is why I lost. I think there is no use of the old cards anymore as they are simply not worth it when they are compared with the new cards.

I think I will have to sell all cards and then rent or buy the new cards to start the journey from the beginning. you can see in the screenshot below my defeat. It is something I do not like to share but well that is the truth and I accept it with honor.

I will play my next battle with new rented cards, if you have any suggestion on which card I should take on rent than please share them in the screenshot below.

That are the attacks I used from my terracore base. I also used more of them but due to some reason the screenshot I shared was vanished. Though you can see the attacks from battle log below.

I have been performing well on the battle log. I am happy with my performance and I hope it increase with time.
