Splinterlands : Battle with Risqruel Drath, a summoner with countless abilities, This was an Epic battle!

How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

Today, when I headed over to the Splinterlands battles, I saw my opponent coming from a guild named Splinter's Trouble. While I don’t have a guild, I was still ready to fight him. I looked at his recently played cards, and I really had no idea what they were because I was seeing them for the very first time.

So I went on with the Life summoner this time, which I rarely use, and I made sure to choose the best cards. But after selecting my team and monsters and heading into the battle, I was, as usual, surprised to witness a team!

A team which you can see in the screenshot below, all the cards of my opponent were alien to me, apart from two cards that came from the Fire section, as I have played a lot with those cards and know them. The rest of the cards, as well as the summoner, were alien to me.

You can see in the screenshot below the name of the summoner is Risqruel Drath, and he comes with so many abilities I can't even count, and that's why I was already scared of him. He was taking 7 mana cost as a summoner, and that is something I have never seen before. The max I have seen is 5, so obviously this summoner was a special one.

The first monster of my opponent was Sacrosanct Shanker, and this name is something I had never heard of before. You can see the abilities of this card below.

Now, we talked about the summoner above, and there were so many abilities that came with that summoner, and I am going to share them in the screenshot below.

There is the Flying ability, which I liked, the True Strike ability, which gives the ability to never miss the target when you hit the opponent, and the Redemption ability, which deals minus one physical damage to all the enemies on every defeat. You can refer to the screenshot below.

In no time, the opponent was able to kill all my monsters, as you can see in the screenshot below. I was left with only two monsters, and only the first round was over by that time, which means I sadly was unable to perform the way I wanted to perform.

All this was because of the new cards that came up with the opponent, while I had the outdated cards. So once again, I have to say that I will be going and buying or renting the new cards so that I can match these modern players. I wonder if it would have been possible to match with similar level players.

You can see my defeat in the screenshot below. I hate that screen the most but that is something which is true, the better player won and as usual I take some nice lessons forward with me for the future battles.

Before I leave, I am sharing my terracore base attacks that I did recently. They can be seen below and this time we made it cross 1000 scraps but it took 8 attacks from our base so there is nothing to be proud about. Anyways, that is all from terracore for this blog. The good thing is that no attack was dodged today.
