Here in Australia you have to choose carefully what fund your money is in, for us in particular we worry about investments in arms. It's always a gamble. I'm just going to be dirt poor I think.

Even with the public pension? My teacher's pension is just taken care of, inflation linked. Easy!

We don't have public pensions... Not in that way. It's linked to salary, but we choose the fund. Employer contributes a percentage.

We have superannuation - probably easier you Google it as you'll be able to make more sense of it than my garbled explanation!

But yes we have pension as well. Means tested. Most rely on super if they can. An issue for single woman, low income earners etc
