[ENGLISH VERSION]

Glint Shop Strategy Vs Merits

The beginning of shopping in the glint shop, and the beginning of the strategy, begins with merit points. When the glint shop resets at the end of each season, the items inside it usually reset to the quantities for the best value. In the case of Merit, the first batch of merits, that is, the first 2,000 merits after the reset, cost 2,000 glint, resulting in a 1:1 ratio of Merits to Glints. Therefore, it's a good idea to always save about 2,000 glint for this first batch, since in the second batch, this ratio changes, becoming 2,000 Merits to 3,000 Glint, or 1:1.5, resulting in a 50% increase in Merit cost.

With these Merits and the ones I'd already been collecting over the past few seasons, I managed to open a total of 19 Gladius Cases. Among them, some of the cards I'd like to highlight, besides the two gold foils, Witch of Warwick and Alfredo, are the two epics that came: Marisol Contuma, which is a great Reach card you can use in Brawls, and Gorth.

With the cards that came with these packs, I was able to level up some Gladiator cards. The first of these was Marisol Contuma, who gained +1 HP at level 3, which helps her tank more attacks, perfect for an off-tank. The next card to be leveled up was Bayne, who gained the Retaliate ability, making her a viable tank option in the Death element. The last card I evolved was Sarius, which gives me +1 HP.

Glint Shop Strategy vs. Epic Draws

Instead of saving up to open everything at once, I gradually opened chests, draws, and collected Mertis throughout the season with the goal of improving my deck and trying my luck at a Jackpot. But I ended up not having much luck, drawing common and rare cards. In 20x Major Chest, I got 1x Meriptu Slinger from rare cards and the rest were all common cards. Even in the ultimate chests, which have a higher chance of getting a jackpot per glint, I only got 9 energy and a few potions.

Realizing that the chances of getting something good from the chests were low, I decided to change my strategy a bit and focus on Epic Draws. However, it's worth remembering that there's another reason for choosing Epic Draws, which is quite simple: they're the strongest cards in the Reward Rebellion set, in some cases stronger than even the legendary cards in that set. The big highlight was a recent gold foil Olivia of The Brook, a simply sensational card with two attack types—melee and magic—4 HP and 3 Speed, and the Opportunity ability—all for just 6 mana.

In addition to this Gold Foil, I also acquired three more Epic Draws, which luckily didn't have any duplicates, allowing several cards to start approaching the next level. The first of these is somewhat similar to Olivia, which is the Thanalorian Blade, with two melee attacks and opportunity. The second is Halfling Refugee, which should be a legendary card in my opinion because it has incredible stats for only 1 mana. Finally, we have the Shock Trooper, which is one of the best DPS per mana cost in the entire game.

[VERSÃO PORTUGUÊS]

Estratégia do Glint Shop x Merits

“Awesome 🌟 The Glint Shop strategy sounds really effective 🙌. Do you think it’s better to spend Glints on merits or something else?”
