Scientists feed Pangasius fish together with a method of photographing their consumed food.

Hello..!!My Dear Hiveians,@rex-hossain from Bangladesh

Assalamu Alaikum how are you all? Hope everyone is well. By the grace of Allah I am also fine, today I will share with you, about Scientists feed Pangasius fish together with a method of photographing their consumed food.

Scientists feed Pangasius fish together with a method of photographing their consumed food.

South and Southeast Asia has widely cultured Pangasius under its common names of basa and catfish among its populations. Stable feeding techniques directly influence Pangasius growth rates because they produce better yields.

The feeding process begins by giving the fry powdered protein-rich feed three to four times per day. Floating pellets with balanced nutrition levels at 28–32% protein become the main diet for growing fish once smaller feeds are no longer suitable. Fish owners feed their stock twice a day at the time when fish display peak activity during morning and late afternoon. Water contamination occurs when farmers feed their fish inadequately because they observe how the fish behave at meals.

Water quality requires continuous maintenance because all remaining feed must be removed immediately. The efficiency evaluation in most fish farms includes monitoring feed conversion ratio (FCR) with an optimal end result between 1.5 and 2.0.

The process of capturing Pangasius feed allows one to develop photographs with both educational and artistic value. A quality photograph should demonstrate both the texture patterns and dimensional qualities and food identity of aquatic feed. Natural lighting should be used whenever it is available and you should take photos from close distances to show detailed aspects. Visible pictures of active fish consuming feed during feeding time demonstrate their predatory behavior and the lively nature of their mealtime behavior. The visual content serves educational, instructional and promotional purposes at aquaculture farms.

Observing fish feeding behavior and documenting it through photos leads to improved understanding combined with better farm control for both fish farmers and aquaculturists.

Thank you so much for reading my post.
