Happy 2024 and Happy HivePud!!
Happy Hive Power Up Day 2024.
I've opted for a Power Up of 50 Hive this month just to keep things ticking over... I want to keep a fair chunk liquid in anticipation of crypto prices going up SOON! (It's always soon!)
December on Hive...
I managed to add another 1000 HP in Hive, so I'm now around 101K HIVE POWER...
My curation rewards are lower than usual because I've got a large ZING delegation going out, VERY excited by that project as the release date creeps ever closer!
2023 on Hive...
I think Hive 2023 is best characterised as having been slow but steady, which suits me!
Splinterlands has been the most interesting thing, with LAND going live in November, and it's my kind of buildy game, I am now enjoying trying to balance my grain production with SPS and RESEARCH and looking forward to the buildings phase coming online hopefully in 2024!
ZING was another late in 2023 win, I've got a large delegation and have managed to build nearly 200K ZING between my stake and the liquidity pools.
3speak has been a little disappointing in terms of lack of development, but the LARYNX price seems to be doing O.K. Hopefully another WIN for this coming 2024!
I'm happily supporting most of the DAO proposals, but not convinced most of the onboarding ones are doing that much to get people Vesting rather than spending, but I am onboard with Hive as a charitable vessel, but we do need more big Vesters.
In terms of the Hive Price it's been stable enough, and given the inflation I guess that is encouraging, but we need to see some positive price action going forwards.
I still believe in the Chain, obviously, it's still the most decentralised social media chain around, and it remains the only chain where I've met half of the top witnesses, and I'm happy to trust something where I can put faces to names, mostly!
2024... Hive's year...?

Steady growth is good, if you can demonstrate that you are adding stake and value over a number of years then that automatically will build trust, as the the face to face meetings which we a big on here in Adelaide.

I also share your desire to attract more large investors to this incredibly promising platform. I think it would be beneficial to focus on effective initiatives to encourage and retain active investment. I too have planned to increase my participation in the hive ecosystem, it has not ceased to seem an interesting and curious project. I expect 2024 to be quite positive for the community.
I think the basics are here, HBDs are a great thing, we just need eyes!
Let's hope Hive will maximally thrive throughout this obvious incoming bullrun for 2024.
