CryptoRaiding Weekly Update... Name our Raiders Competition!

This cute pixel game has conquered the blockchain gaming world by storm and is surprising players and investors with their innovation and development updates. The Cartel is already sending its own Raider into dungeons for loot and glory. In this article I present a summary of what our Raiders have been up to this week and of the broader game developments...

This week saw alchemy introduced to CryptoRaiders - raiders can now brew their own health potions using the items they find on quests!

Raidering and Questing...

We had a pretty successful weekly grind with 30BASH, less so with New Recruit…

BASH managed 5/5 successful raids, mainly because I just wanted a pure grind-through on a safe dungeon - Oglo’s Demise normal level - which he can do easily, while the legendary level is a risk.

We did score an enflame Rune Spell, which is a decent find, just not as good as the BASH spell we already have.

With New Recruit I managed to mess up a little bit and end up with two failed raids as my first YOLO into Children’s Cries which we got through lulled me into a false sense of security - we lost the next two and so I then settled for a couple of safe runs at hogger, no decent gear for New Recruit.

No level ups either, for BASH he’s just so high now it takes a while, New Recruit will be levelled next week hopefully!

NAME OUR RAIDERS COMPETITION….

It’s about time we named our raiders…. Drop a theme for names in the comments, and name both our Raiders… NB consider that we’ll be recruiting more in the future and it would be nice to have one theme running throughout. I’ll upvote every suggestion and 1UP the winning suggestion, if @flauwy agrees, I’m sure he will.

Alchemy

We had some Grimweed and Eye of Newt from last week’s quests, and some spare Aurum, so I set 30 BASH to the task of brewing some minor health potions. ATM there is on time lock-up for this, so it’s good to get these in now.

Brewing also gives one alchemy experience points, and presumably you will need higher levels to brew more advanced potions down the line.

You can’t use potions in dungeons yet, but there is already a MHP (Minor Health Potion) trading pair with Aurum: someone was on the case setting that up!

For us with just the two raiders I think it’s best to just brew our own and hold them for now!

Other News…

Tournaments are moving to a new hosting platform - https://www.communitygaming.io/ - which allows any community member to host a tournament.

The Endless Dungeon testing period was extended for another week - I did send out a few questions in Discord about this, seeing comments about people making it to 22 monsters in, whereas I can’t seem to manage getting beyond 1 monster - turns out you have to pile all your stats into one attribute and then just rely on luck to get anywhere, so this whether this is for us I’m undecided…. Will have to to watch how this develops!

There was some talk in the Discord about the possibility of paying for resurrection if a raider dies when death goes live (Excuse the pun), nothing confirmed, but sounds interesting for sure!

So LOTS going on as usual!

NB there was another stats reset, but by the time this post goes live you may have already missed it - it was announced on Monday, over by Tuesday!
