1000 Hive Powered up for JULY Power Up Day!
Happy July and happy HPUD. Half way through 2024 and I just Powered Up 1K Hive...
I've had a couple of K sitting around liquid, but with no sign of the bull market kicking into gear proper may as well Power this Up and enjoy the curation returns for a while!
111k Hive Power...
I managed to add 2500 Hive Power in the merry month of June, the largest chunk of that just now, although it doesn't show on Hive Stats yet, there is a slight delay obviously in pulling the data!
Hive Price Dip - Time to Buy!
Obsv we are down significantly in price since this time last month, around 30%, from $0.30 to now just bouncing around the $0.21/2 mark.
We could go down further OFC but for me low 20s is time to start buying Hive, it's certainly not time to sell!
On the plust side this means you can stack Hive faster than ever from post rewards.
Another quiet month on Hive...
There's not much going on around the Hive ecosystem I don't think. Zing is delayed, Splinterlands seems to be dying a slow death, thank god I skimmed something out of that over the last year!
Posting is also quiet, and comments down. Posting quality is now so low I am regularly voting burn posts and mediocre posts of people who Power Up.
Keeping the faith!
I mean Hive isn't just about the money for me, that's a nice bonus, it's still just about the only form of truly decentralised social media out there, while people struggle on mainstream social media for little or no reward for the most part, and there are no viable alternatives to Hive that I know of still.
And besides the lull it's still a fun place to be for the most part!

Nice Powerup, sad too that splinterlands didn't make it, I thought land would be helping out a look but I don't know if a lot of users actually use it. Maybe they will get another chance with another bull run.
For hive, I believe in the utility of the blockchain to be a support to build social apps on top. I think the landscape will be different if there is a price frenzy, it might finance new projects or users to stay.
SL needs a bull run, I mean it is still a functioning game, we'll see. I agree that the underlying tech with Hive is strong!
I think I'll do the same. Had some liquid HIVE I was saving for a rainy day that is better used as voting power.

I've been buying £50 each month, but got a bit more this time. I'm hoping it's going to gain some value as well as earning. We keep on waiting for it to break it again. It is fun as you say.

1k is kind of cool.
Sometimes high inflation in this part of the world comes in my way but I don't think it's going to stop me from building my Hive portfolio on consistent basis.
