How to MOON Punks on Hive

Punks on Hive was a smash hit! Sold out in two days, congrats @themarkymark and team.

Now, whats next?

Here are a few of my suggestions to anyone with an ear for this stuff.

Suggestions

  1. Have some utility on @splinterlands, maybe be able to stake them for SPS or maybe they can trickle out some bonuses once land comes out? I saw @yabapmatt ape into these, so maybe there can be a Splinterlands connection there.

  2. Speaking of Bridges, maybe these can be Bridged onto WAX (Atomic Hub) or ETH (OpenSea). This would unlock the power of thousands of collectors on other blockchains and their marketplaces.

  3. Maybe @dcitygame ( @gerber ) can add staking to their game using these as "Avatar Mayors" or something similar?

  4. Another marketplace these could be sold on can be @nftmarketplace

  5. The ability to mate a male and female you don't want to make another Punk (with less traits, you can introduce new traits too) Gen 2, etc.

These are just a few examples of things off the top of my head.

Quality of Life GUI suggestions

  1. It would be cool if you can click a trait and it brings you to a gallery view of all those traits and you can sort by rarities.
  2. A search function, maybe you want a female with blond hair and heart glasses?
  3. A social media share function, to twitter mostly. I don't think you can directly link to your punk yet?
  4. An offer button, maybe someone want to throw HIVE at you for something not on the market, or best offer if you do have something on the market?

Im enjoying these A LOT!

Holder royalties from secondary sales. Like 3% distributed to holders. Maybe 5% distributed to original minters.

Staking Punks to earn BRO or APE.

Integration into @apeminingclub to boost APE mining or burning Punks for rigs.

Awesome pull, I saw you got him and knew you would be happy.

A lot of your suggestions are already on the list, I will be making quality of life improvements over the next few days. Not sure if you saw the maintenance page but I left a comment while the site was down "Punks Tinder Soon?" as a joke but I actually do have a few ideas.

Nice alien! I picked up 30 of them and didn’t get anything crazy rare, but some of them look cool, if nothing else. I’m definitely going to just HODL them for now while people work on more markets and things like you’ve mentioned. Just based on how quickly they sold out, I’m pretty hopeful that there will be real interest in them.

Hey @reseller how are you? Sorry for the tag, I noticed you are buying a lot of punks on the market history. I have about 106 in total, including some very rare ones(Wallstreet bets rank 8 total rarity/Orc rank 16).

I also have a bunch of others between 100 and 300 rarity you might be interested in. I recently sold my Robot for 5k USD off market.
