On top of that the government gives you £20 tax relief, so for every £100 you pay in the government gives you £20.
Even if it just counters the tax its good to take advantage of such things. There's a program near me that will match yearly funds that are to go to education. Placed and froze inside an account until the beneficiary goes to collage. If they don't go the funds are taken back.
