Howdy Folks!
Today I was looking over the Splinterland pack values of long out of print Splinterland Packs (and the modern packs as well). As I always like to say; if you are doing something on the Hive Blockchain its likely that something is worth blogging about. Today's something is no exception so here we go. For today's post we will be looking at the Card Pack markets on TribalDex (Powered by Hive-Engine). It goes without saying that if we are looking at Card Pack values we have to take an exciting stare at the core set that started it all; ALPHA Packs and its partner in-crime known as BETA Packs.
Alpha Pack Trade Market:
https://tribaldex.com/trade/ALPHA
Last Sold For: $12.9233640 (123 Hive Tokens)

Beta Pack Trade Market:
https://tribaldex.com/trade/BETA
Last Sold For: $5.2428932 (49.90000000)

Alpha started it all and BETA helped kickstart things into overdrive. I mention these two together as being the OG cards in the Splinterlands ecosystem. Not just because they were the first two sets but because BETA is a re-print of Alpha cards with some additional card introductions that are not available in the ALPHA print.
UNTAMED Pack Trade Market:
https://tribaldex.com/trade/UNTAMED
Last Sold For: $4.2348800 (40 Hive Tokens)

CHAOS Pack Trade Market:
https://tribaldex.com/trade/CHAOS
Last Sold For: $0.3282032 (3.10 Hive Tokens)

There was a mini set known as ORBS that was introduced but the next core set after BETA was UNTAMED. Following that we have CHAOS Legion. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck you will find that inside the CHAOS market.
Rebellion Pack Trade Market:
https://tribaldex.com/trade/REBELLION
Last Sold For: $3.1761600 (30 Hive Tokens)

ARCANA Pack Trade Market:
https://tribaldex.com/trade/ARCANA
Last Sold For: $1.9056960 (18 Hive Tokens)

Following UNTAMED and CHAOS we have the current modern sets known as Rebellion and Conclave Arcana. The mini-sets also seen some additional introduction throughout the years. We already mentioned ORBS which was the original mini-set but we also had others such as Azmare Dice and Riftwatchers. Which all also can be found for trade on TribalDex.

We seen Bitcoin and Hive both dip and recover in the last 24 hours. To me this is a good sign for the Hive Token. Taking a look at the header image in this post you will see that the Hive Token regained some position at a similar rate as Bitcoin did. If you been reading my previous blog posts you will know that I have a theory that this recent bear market is a blessing in disguise for the Hive Token as we were previously dipping when Bitcoin dipped but didn't benefit much when Bitcoin hit green candles. At the current moment that no-longer seems to be the case. The hive token just might find itself in a better position as it re-aligns with the green candles that Bitcoin experiences. That last graph looks nice doesn't it. That is Bitcoins most recent 24hr graph as seen on CoinMarketCap.

What Is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a #play2earn game hosted on the Hive Blockchain. Assets that have real monetary value are used to earn rewards/ more assets in a robust gaming economy. Such assets are tradable on-site or on many different secondary markets such as TribalDex and Hive-Engine. Don't have a Splinterlands account yet. Well you are in luck because I just so happen to have an ambassador code. Clicking it will start the sign up process. What is an ambassadors code? Its a code that will give me credit for your sign up at no cost to you. Here it is: https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rentmoney Don't want to use my ambassador code (no worries) here is a direct link that will forgo any credit to me: https://splinterlands.com.

Concluding Thoughts:
If you are looking for action Splinterlands has it. {} Pack market onsite {} Secondary pack markets {} In-game card market {} Token markets (SPS, DEC to name a few) {} Ranked Battles and Tournament Play {} Digital land? Splinterlands has it {} Free to play mode (Splinterlands has that to, Campaign mode). There is simply too many things to list and that is a good thing. Essentially there is something for everyone. Alpha and Beta packs originally sold for $2.00 USD. Even in today's bear market that the world is experiencing Alpha and Beta are still well above their original price points. Giving players and investors a great return for their participation. CHAOS legion showing the best buy now price of $0.32+ per pack makes pack flipping fun and very affordable. Opening a 32 cent pack is just as fun as opening a $4.00+ Pack and is wallet friendly. Ten packs for roughly $3.20 USD; it's hard to find fun that cost currencies at a lower price point.

CA is probably the best purchase, you can play modern for long and not too expensive
All fair points.
At $1.90 per pack and the ability to play in modern; one can't go wrong with choosing CA.
