SPL And Inleo Partnership

Yesterday I was browsing threads on Inleo just minding my own business until BAM there it was. A post announcing there was a Splinterlands and Inleo partnership. How the heck did I miss that? If I missed the announcement its possible others are unaware as well. I bet you can guess what my next thought was --> why not blog about it. Which is my usual thought for all pondering related to the Hive Blockchain. How does such a partnership benefit both party's and communities? Let me count the ways. As of some days there has been new features added to the Inleo front-end that add to the usecase and visibility of SPS. For example its now an option to pay for Inleo Premium using SPS Tokens. For those who might not know what Inleo Premium is: it's a subscription that cost $10 USD and comes with many benefits like being able to edit Thread Posts, Check Mark next to one's profile name, increased visibility and much more on top of that. Community wise the benefits speak for themselves. Two communities interacting together gives potential for new users to crossover from the other and become participants in both Splinterlands and Inleo.

Fun SPL Features Added To Inleo

There are some other fun features that were added to the Inleo Front-end thanks to this partnership including being able to visually see reward payments on our created content displayed in SPS. Personally I think its a very interesting feature. Now if we can find a way to get the appropriate swaps to happen behind the scene directly at post payout that will seemingly allow SPS (or any other token) to be paid out that is something that might bring tons of interest from WEB2 users. Just imagine your Hive Post being payable in any crypto currency that is viable to do so. Now there's a million dollar idea. How long before we might see something as such implemented? Imagine the trades that would need to take place for all the swaps to happen. Increased LP rewards for those in them. Obviously Hive would be the main currency in-which all trades would have to interact with. Meaning Hive's trading volume shooting through the roof. Not on on DEX's outside of HIVE either. I'd imagine the in-house marketplaces would benefit from such. We already have TriabalDex and LeoDex. I wonder how hard it would be to make those swaps automatic at post payout time. Doesn't seem like something that is too far out of reach of reality to me. But then again I'm no dev. I'm just an end-user who posts content and interacts with others that do the same here on the Hive Blockchain.
