Conclave Arcana Presale Concludes

They say time fly's when you are having fun and that holds true in this case. It seems as if it was just yesterday that everyone was buzzing about the Conclave Arcana Presale and the Rewards that came with. Some hours ago that very presale concluded. Those who participated have been airdropped their earned Promo Cards and earned Raffle Rewards. As we went over in a previous post @rentmoney purchased 10 Presale Packs using his @rentmoney account. Let's see if we beat the odds and flipped something grander than the four common and one rare that is guaranteed in each pack. After visiting the Splinterlands official site we see there was a pop-up window in the upper corner of our screen that said, "Check Your Presale Rewards". We click it and to our delight we see that we were airdropped a Promo Card. Unfortunately our 40 Raffle Tickets didn't hit and 0 of them managed to pull us a Raffle Reward but at just 40 entries we were expecting such. I'll be interested to hear all about your drops. Above you will see the two Presale Promo cards. The first being named Arcane Skinwalker which is a Rare Neutral card. The second displayed above is the Promo card named Gramel the Hunger which is a Legendary Neutral card. Promo Rare cards need 115 combined cards to make a maxed copy. Legendary Promo cards need just 11 combined copies to make a maxed copy. What one was @rentmoney dropped? Arcane Skinwalker and I was happy to have it be so. Did you miss out on the presale? If so no worries as we are now knee deep in General Sale and that brings its own new type of excitement. What excitement might that be? For me the standout is the following: for the first time ever players/ investors can purchase $1.00 packs using their DEC and or Credits. Yes I said $1.00 packs; that was not a typo on my part. The $1.00 packs contain common and rare cards with no golds. Such packs are purchasable directly from from the Splinterlands site as are the $4.00 Standard Packs, $12.000 ALCHEMY PACK, and the $24.00 LEGENDARY PACK. Whatever your pack of choice; it sure is allot of fun opening them, even more fun flipping them. Good luck with those draws!

Arcane Skinwalker Lore

Gramel the Hunger Lore

In the ever-writhing hellscape of its domain, it’s a king of kings, sovereign of suffering, glutton of identity. It devours its victims face-first and screaming, feasting on flesh and remembrance. Their forms, their memories, their very selves become the Hunger’s. And now, it walks the Splinterlands, shackled by the magic of Portia Nyr. Gramel the Hunger plays along. For now.

Opening Packs

It's been awhile since I cracked open a pack or ten and the excitement of doing so is just as intensifying as the first time I did so. I wasn't expecting to hit much with a 10 Pack opening but even if a person was to purchase just one pack there is always a shot to hit an amazing card. How did @rentmoney do with his pack openings? For a quick rundown in text form; Two legendary cards were pulled, Two Epic cards, Three Summoners and Three Gold common cards. A healthy batch of rare's and commons as well. Overall we manage to beat the odds in 8/10 packs hitting something above the four common and one rare guarantee. At the time of opening my packs the Legendary Cards themselves were listed for trade at over $15 USD each. In hindsight it might of been best to sell and purchase back later but @rentmoney doesn't like letting go of his Splinterland cards :) Lets take a look at the Lore, Artwork and Stats of the Legendary Cards we flipped. Pro Tip: if you want to view your pack opening after closing the original screen the site known as PeakMonsters #peakd offers a way to do that.
