Showing My Support For The Rebellion Pre-Sale!

In case you haven't been up-to-date with Splinterlands, they have recently launched the pre-sale of Rebellion packs!

I won't go into the details of the Rebellion pre-sale and the new stuff because you can find them on the official websites and many other posts on Hive, so this post is really about sharing my thoughts and what I did.

The timing of the pre-sale launch was 0200h for where I live in, and I was slightly disappointed that I probably would miss the pre-sale, but I had a few chats with friends on Hive and Discord, and most of them re-assured me that the pre-sale wouldn't be sold out immediately and there would be ample time for me to participate.

And they were right!

I woke up in the morning and the pre-sale was still going on! And since I had 4000 DEC and 5 VOUCHER available, I bought one pack to show my support for the Splinterlands team!

Hmm I know it's not a lot, so I would explain why. Personally, I prefer to buy specific cards off the market rather than to rely on the randomness of the pack opening, especially since my luck isn't that fantastic. For example, if I play Water lineups often, I would specifically buy the Water cards. Also, the value of DEC was so high and close to the "peg", so I actually chose to sell off my remaining DEC into SWAP.HIVE instead. Hopefully DEC comes back down, and I can reverse my trade and gain a profit.

In any case, I feel that as long as we are Splinterlands players, we should show our support to the team behind this, and one way is to buy at least 1 pack and make this pre-sale a successful one! Or we could write posts like these, and share them on social media to reach out to more people too! So here I am, doing both of these!
