Share Your Battle - 2 Must-Have Dragon Cards Below 0.5 DEC Rental Per Day
The theme for the current "Share Your Battle" challenge is Dragons, and I am going to share two of my favourite Dragon cards - Brighton Bloom and Djinn Chwala!
Brighton Bloom has helped me win many Earthquake battles and it's very puzzling why not many players in Silver leagues are using him. The rental price is so very affordable and just 1 win is enough to cover the cost for the day!
Here's the lore for Brighton Bloom:
Brighton was an eccentric young man of Shimmer City, the capital of Khymeria. He was always seen as a strange character among the Khymian summoners. In the best times, his peers thought he was simply a distraction from their important studies. In the worst times, his fellow summoners doubted and belittled Brighton’s abilities. They were also put off by the way birds always landed on his hands and shoulders. After just two years studying at the Shimmer summoning school, Brighton decided to leave Khymeria. His loyalty was available to the highest bidder, and that is where the Dragons came in.
The Gloridax cared not for Brighton’s strange idiosyncrasies; what mattered to them was his skills as a summoner. Furthermore, in Gloridax eyes oneness with birds has long been considered a sign of divinity. Brighton’s attraction to birds was quickly noticed by Suam Khepri, Empress of the United Gloridax, who assigned a team of aerial sorcerers to properly train the young man. When Brighton emerged from that training, he could grant the power of flight to any monster under his summoning control.
Djinn Chwala is still one of the best tanks with Thorns because it packs a huge amount of armour even at Level 1. As long as it is a Melee fight, Djinn Chwala is almost certain to win.
Here's the lore for Djinn Chwala:
Dawn of the Djinn 4 of 4 - Only a short time after the Djinn were released, most of them were already seeing their elemental captivity as a blessing rather than a curse. They had far greater power than before, now that they were working with the force of the Planet at their backs. Pursuit of power was at the core of Belludae beliefs, so most of them would make small sacrifices for greater power.
The Djinn have not all found one another, and it will be difficult for them to do so since many of them reside in different elements. This is why several of the Djinn have submitted themselves as cards in the Moxian games, so they can connect with their lost brethren. Gradually they will come together to Praetoria as part of the last lines of defense, channeling the power of the Planet into an impenetrable wall to hold back the Chaos Legion.
Battle Type & Team Lineup
Position | Card | Notes |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Brighton Bloom | Definitely the top choice for a Earthquake fight |
1 | Djinn Chwala | I actually like many Water tanks but I thought Djinn Chwala could fit better and cause more damage from Thorns. |
2 | Djinn Oshannus | One of the best Water Legendary cards. With high speed, decent damage, high HP, and Void ability, it's very hard to break him down. |
3 | Deeplurker | Its Opportunity ability is a gem and I still can't believe that this is a Common card. If the frontline holds the fort, it will buy a lot of time for Deeplurker to strike the backline out. |
4 | Pelacor Bandit | Another trick from this play, to take out cards from the back. It sometimes pays to have a variety of hitting options. |
5 | Nerissa Tridawn | One of the rare magic hitters with high HP and she will be covering the backline. |
6 | Water Elemental | Another attempt to vary my hitting options, with a Ranged attacker at the back. |
Pre Battle: I knew half the battle was won when my opponent did not have Brighton Bloom, but then I realised my opponent had 4 cards with Flying so it might be tricky.
Round 1: An awesome effort from the team and with all the hits combined, Mycelic Slipspawn fell.
Round 2: Djinn Chwala struck out Unicorn Mustang and Screeching Vulture fell by Thorns, while Deeplurker hunted down Tower Griffin.
Round 3: Djinn Chwala went out after a great performance, with Djinn Oshannus taking over the tank position, and victory was close for me.
Round 4: Djinn Oshannus completed an easy win for my team.

Post Battle
Did my strategy work? Definitely! Brighton Bloom made the difference here and Djinn Chwala sealed the nail into the coffin for my opponent.
Do I like Dragons? Yes, I have appreciated Dragon Summoners because I could use any of the 5 elements with these summoners. This gives a lot of flexibility to my gameplay.
Final thoughts? Brighton Bloom and Djinn Chwala are a must-have if you don't have them. At time of writing, their combined rent per day is just 0.23 + 0.20 = 0.43 DEC/day. For the potential wins and DEC rewards that you can obtain with them, I would say it is definitely worth it!
What are your takeaways from this battle? Feel free to comment below, as I am always keen to learn and improve!
