SBT Is Back - I Won The Legendary Zebajin!
It's a new month and I thought I should update on the SBT Project on a monthly basis.
For those who are not familiar and are new to this project, SBT is Splinterlands Battle Token. This is a project which @itzninjafool has put a tremendous amount of effort and resources into, and I have been around into the Discord channel for a while and I really enjoy the events and raffles!
So what happened???
So in case you missed the update last month, here's a recap!
As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, the SBT project can be vulnerable to key man risk, and the project was halted for a couple of weeks recently. No raffles, no drips, no curations, because @itzninjafool had real life stuff to deal with.
After what seemed like a loooong break, we have some official news from @sbtofficial!
First up, the raffles have resumed but the tier requirements will have some changes.

If you are wondering if it's worth the increased requirements for the various tiers, let me share with you what I have won! Since my last update, I have won another 6 cards from the raffles, including a Legendary card, Zebajin!!!

Thanks to Zebajin, the total value of the 6 cards that I won tallied to more than 6 USD!!! And I just needed to stake SBT and participate in the daily raffles!
SBT TOKEN
So let's see how much does it currently to join the respective tiers. At time of writing now, you can get 1 million SBT for about 16 to 20 Hive! That would give you access to all the raffles!
BTC, ETH, DOGE DRIPS
Another month has passed and this was the monthly drip for BTC, ETH and DOGE based on the amount of SBT staked relative to everyone in the community. I have 2.8m SBT staked so that was my drip for this month. Not huge numbers but considering the value of 2.8m SBT, it's good enough for me.
Including all the drips since the start, here's the amount of BTC, ETH, and DOGE that I have accumulated, all from the SBT Project. With cryptos moving up in value in recent days, the drips have amounted to more than 7 USD. Just by staking SBT!
SUMMING UP
To sum up, for buying and staking SBT, you get a chance at up to 6 daily raffles to win Splinterlands cards and SBT tokens, get drips of tokens including BTC, ETH and DOGE! And if you write posts too, you might get an upvote by being a member of the SBT community as well!

Congratulations on your win, and thanks for updating us on the SBT project.
I stumbled upon some "SBT talks" elsewhere before. And, I noticed that my H-E wallet has a little over 10k SBT (liquid). I don't know how I got them!! So, I thought I was getting some invisible drips! However, seeing new tier here, looks like we need at least 100k SBT!
Getting SBT is not difficult considering it's current price. However, I am bit worried about a project run by a single person. And, the reality of our life:
I have seen many projects vanished form the platform because the person behind the project couldn't continue! That makes me more skeptical putting any amount into a project!

Perfectly understand your concern and that's why I thought to mention the "risk" in the post as well. From my perspective, it's more of a sharing, rather than promoting, of my experiences and lending support to different projects. At this point, even though the project had long pauses twice over the years, I think I have benefited a lot, and it's okay if my SBT stake goes to zero in the worst case scenario.
