Splinterlands has been one of the most unique collectible card games on Hive Blockchain. One of the most used Dapp and game to exist on Hive. A lot has been going on in the recent times in Splinterlands. Presale has been successful, new direction of the game (Land Update) and not to forget about the latest release of mobile app of Splinterlands in Google Play Store is the talk of the town.

For a long time, Splinterlands players has been wanting to have a mobile app for easy access to the game. This would allow the players to play and enjoy the game almost in every place due to it being accessible via the mobile app. The team finally made it happen and here we are with the Splinterland's Mobile app, which is available to all in Google Play Store. At present it is only available on google play store. I suppose in the coming days it should be available in Apple Store for the IOS users.

This is how the landing page looks like. You are suppose to log in with your username and your Hive keys. I preferred to log in using my posting key, since that seems safe to me for the time being. Once logged in, the app is visibly similar to the web version, which was a very good thinking from gamers perspective. As I suppose most of the players who are playing the game would definitely love to be at the same environment while they are playing, may that it be while in PC or in phone.

These two pages are an excellent edition to the app. Infact in terms of visualizations the mobile version seems more aesthetic than the web version. I went in and tried few of the options and my impression out there was very smooth. Not to forget, it will take some time to get used to this version of the app. Since we all are used to the web version!

These two pages looks smooth and I tried few features from the app and to be honest it went pretty smooth. Almost everything looks similar to the web version. This is how it felt during exploring the game in other third party mobile apps!

Battle

This is what makes the app most intriguing. As I suppose most of the players would dive in whenever they can into this section of the app the most. Which makes it probably the most anticipated and exciting part of the app. That being said I tried the battle page and if I am being honest, I was not confused at all. As I have played before in the HIVE KEYCHAIN app, which is why it seemed very similar to me. But I must say, this app version seemed more and more practical to me than the keychain version. Although, it was the original web version of the game.

To sum up, the app has been a great addition to the game. This approach will make many gamers much more active in the game. Not only that, this will open doors to many new gamers who are fond of mobile version of games. I suppose within the no time this will enhance the game and also increase the number of users in the coming days.
