Splinterlands | Battles Played | Time Consumed
Play to earn industry has been gaining momentum for the last couple of years. There has been a huge buzz during the previous bull run. Everyone were talking about games which would eventually emit crypto upon playing respective games. I must admit, those among few of the times, which literally felt like as if this could be the days which everyone awaited for a very long time. even though, everything seemed perfect but the most challenging part of these play to earn gaming industry was the survival part. Everything seemed perfect but at the end there were games which went down in the past due to sustainability issues. There were very few play to earn games which were able to crack that code and survived till today.
Splinterlands being one of those games which literally brought back the aura which was missing all along. There were times which felt like that this could be it for Splinterlands. But every time Splinterlands was able to bring something amazingly amazing which made the game even more interesting that it was before. Although, there are multiple factors behind this scenario as well. The most important part was the COMMUNITY
. Backing up Splinterlands and the team was probably something which pushed the team even more to do their best and keep on delivering one product after another. Till this day, the team has been delivering one updates after another, which is not only keeping the community up to date but also helping the game's fundamentals improve even more.
As you may notice the daily transactions which are being made in the game in quite a lot. As per the day on a monthly basis it is going through 1,866,616 transactions, which equivalents to an average transactions of 64366 every single day. That number is not really small. Some of it might sound quite impossible considering the number of players playing the game. But just given the thought this many transactions being made gives me chills.
Although, the numbers seems to be going up and down on a daily basis but I assume this will continue to climb up in the coming days, since the game is going through some exciting changes in its attributes.
This is where the data gets even more interesting. Considering the above image you can easily find out why and how these calculations are being made. On an average the data displayed above refers to the fact that on an average 64,000 transactuons are being made and among them almost 54,000 transactions is going through as battle transactions. This data does sounds very very intriguing. Based on the amount of games being played this number is quite huge.
Although, the remaining numbers of transactions are done within the games for other types of aspects. I am assuming these are the transaction which are being done for land, card, claiming, transferring tokens to and from Splinterlands and so on.
Time Consuming for the Battles
Assuming :
Given the date from the charts, we can assume the average battles are 54,187. Lets say most of the users are real users playing the game. For making the data even more accurate lets assume, the number of bot accounts are 1/3. That would exclude, 36,000 battles are being played by the players. With the calculation this would roughly mean 36,000 minutes of gameplay is being played by the players each and everyday. Assuming one game takes each minute to complete. That is a very rough estimate and the main number is definitely to change if we get the accurate data.
But just to think about the fact that players are giving this much time into the game does sounds very intense and also satisfying at the same time. Just imagine how much players are into the game and how much they are trying to be in this game. Given the fact that if and this game gets to break the web3 gaming industry in the upcoming days the adoption would be insane and it would literally mean a lot for us all who are in the game for a very long time.
I believe we all want Splinterlands to thrive in the coming days. It requires a lot of patience to hold onto what we have and keep on going no matter what!
