Are You Ready, Splinterland's Scholars?
Splinterlands is slowly emerging to be one of the most OG web3 game in the play to earn industry. Over the past couple of months we have seen some of the massive improvements happening within the game. Which is why, we are observing some of the changes which are slowly making sense in today's time. Which is why Splinterlands is evolving and doing what needs to be done in order to make the game reach to its peak. Community has been the pivotal point for the game! Now it is time to give to the community.
If you are in Splinterlands, you might as well have the idea of how expensive the game has become. It is literally not possible for many players to have everything that they need for them to reach to the peak. There are players who are very good at what they do! By that I mean, some players who can do wonders if they get the right tools aka cards in their disposal. Which is why everyone has an equal chance to prove their might in this genre. Splinterlands has come up with the idea of Scholar Showcase Tournament
. In easy terms, every players will be given equal chance to show what they are capable of to the whole of Splinterlands. Let us elaborate the situation and get a hold of it.
Scholar Showcase Tournament Series
Series of Tournaments will be arranged by Splinterlands. Where those signing up will have the chance the show their skills, talent, strategy and gameplay. All of these will be on the same level playing field. Which is, each and every player will get
Equal card access
A new way of bonding between Scholars and Deck owners
Priority based on raw skills/talents
I remember when the game was in early stages, there were players who were deep into the game by buying cards and holding onto them and enjoying the game. While there were also players who had deep pockets and invested into the game but they had very little time. Which is why their assets were just sitting idle in the game and doing almost nothing. Which is why, investors were searching for players who would play their deck and make the best use of the cards and keep on advancing in the rank. Along their way they would earn and keep on stacking. Once a season is completed, their rewards would get distributed between them. Both the party gets to be happy. The players who would play the investors deck are also known as SCHOLARS
.
The game has come a long way. Splinterlands has seen growth in a massive way in the last couple of months. Many new investors have joined the game. Many new players are trying the game. Several investors are building their deck in order to make the best use of their investments. Which is why, this step of Scholar Showcase
tournament is probably one of the most unique and a must needed approach from the team of Splinterlands. This way new players, old players, new investors everyone will get to decide for themselves what they can do with their deck. Either they should rethink or re-evaluate their strategy regarding their sets of cards of they should think otherwise. This new approach will definitely help players/deck owners to make the best use of their cards and talents.

The steps are quite simple to be a part of these Tournaments
- Join the Tournaments
- Every players will have same set/deck of cards
- Only thing matters is, your talent
once you have done this phase, you move to the next. You have shown what you are capable of now the deck owners needs to find you and you need a chance to negotiate your offers with the deck owners. This is where https://spl-scholar-showcase.streamlit.app/ this webpage comes into play which is designed by one of the community members gamerbeaker007
.

Visit the webpage and scholars can sign up with their way of the deal. All the Scholar Tournament data results is organized and will be displayed out in here. Which is, the scholars can decide how they want to be contacted by the deck owners and how do they want to split the rewards with the owners. And the owners of the deck can visually witness the stats of the scholars and can track their performance and rank and if they find it worthy enough, they can contact directly with each other. Every aspect of this phase is transparent and both the parties will get the best deal out of this approach.
Why is it important?
Not everyone knows one another out in here. Yes, we are a community and we do want to get to know each other as much as possible. But in reality it is quite impossible. As some of the players who are very good at playing they are not getting enough cards due to finance or they do not know where to knock for support or be a scholar. Lack of presence in the community can make a difference. With this approach that closed doors are now open. Which allows everyone to give an equal opportunity to do their best and make the best out of their effort. This is what Dapps should be looking out for! Creating opportunities for the community and keep on improving along the way.
I do believe Splinterlands has a very long way ahead of itself. This is just the beginning of something new! Keep on going folks.
