The Rebellion effect on Splinterlands Token Economy

This year has been good and bad both for the splinterlands game. I mean to say we have seen the days when the team had to lay off some people which was not good at all but despite the fact the team also built many things in the game. This year we have got land going live and also we have another version called Rebellion. Multiple things have been added to the game this year which is a good part and we should not be missing it. Even the token economy has improved as compared to what we had in the last year and probably this is because of the rebellion effect.

Rebellion is the latest edition of booster pack in the game and this is not like any other edition that we have seen. The reason why it is different is because it is a dedicated addition for the players in the game. The cards will not be used on land. With this edition, we have got dual element summoners cards. We have also got some new abilities and three new tactics.

Many new things have been added to the game and this is all good for us. The price of the DEC token is finally back to its peg range. This is a stable coin in the game and we can also call it in-game currency. Initiate a scenario 1000 Dec is worth $1 and finally, we have it now.

It's been a long time since we have seen this price for the Dec token. I'm sure that many people who are holding the DEC token must be very happy because now they can see the price they wanted for a long. Those who invested in this token when the price was low must be very happy now because they were able to get a good profit. I did not invest in this token and I think it was my mistake that I did not but it's OK because I was more focused on SPS. And now because the price of SPS is also up I am happy but the thing is that I am not gonna sell anything since it is not for my short-term goal.

Rebellion General Sale

Now talking about the Rebellion edition which is now live in the game. The general sale for the rebellion version is live in the game and anyone can buy the pack using the DEC token where the price for one pack is 4000 DEC along with a voucher token. Now because the price of DEC is back to its range there is no discount on the buying even if you choose to pay with DEC. This was one of the fantastic options we had in the game at the time of presale where the token value was less. Many people bought the token and invested in the pack and they were able to get a good discount on the buying. In that scenario, it was certainly the best option available for everyone and the community was able to get the most out of it.

I did not buy the pack as of now because I plan to buy cards instead of a pack. I prefer to invest in a card because it will improve my gameplay experience. The pack is good for those who want to grab the airdrop benefits and also look for future profit opportunities with the pack. I have limited funds that I would prefer to invest in cards because this will help me make my gameplay better. I have started my land farming in the game but it still needs more work and more resources to be in the best place.

I have a plan to build a deck from the Rebellion edition which is going to be dedicated to the gameplay. The rebellion is going to empower my gameplay on the modern format because earlier I had limited cards however with this addition I can think about modern again. As of now most of the cards I own is from old edition and these are not good for the modern but good enough for the wild. The Rebellion is a modern format edition card and I think once I build a deck it will help me improve my gameplay for the modern format.

So I am happy to have this new deck in the game that is providing more options to the players and I think the price will also be reasonable because we have multiple additional cards available in the market as of now. I'll be trying to track the market sometime later and we'll see what cards I need to buy but it will take some time for me. I have tried my best to accumulate as much as PS I can and whatever I have is good for me as of now but I will try to build even more so that I can play in the higher league with a higher multiplier.
