Arcade Colony Latest Update

Yesterday, the dev has giving notes about the arcade colony at the discord, which includes all development of the game on the arcade colony and Stake House Den specifically because it's their priority at the moment.

Here is some important points we can get :
First, for Moonkart games, there will be adjustment for the orbitals reward. I think it's a good move because orbitals rewards are often become a target of exploitation with the unbalance system.

Second, Stake House Den is the main priority on Arcade Colony, with the staking and merging cards are planned to live next week. Staking cards mean hotsauce will start to generate, and that would mean the requirement for reward system is complete. We can expect the play to earn soon ! Two weeks is the target for the dev, and hopefully they can manage to reach that !

Third, there are two Stake House Den's additional games that started to develop : the Video Poker (for single player) and Multi player Texas Hold'em which contains 6 and 10 players version. I personally excited for the multi player where we can enjoy the game together with friends !

Forth, the mobile apps is on the process to getting the platform ready, with the major pieces missing is a simple process for signing into apps mobilly. The team says they are in the final testing stages, which can be the very last things that need to be done and then we can start having good mobile experiences with Arcade Colony games.

Fifth, Prime Pick still on the progress with 2 main backend objectives leftbefore they can go to focus on the front end.

Sixth, the team still trying to fix the display bugs with the new players on the Genesis League Goals.

Stake House Den is Arcade Colony Priority at the Moment, What We Should Do ?

So, we already knew that Stake House Den is currently the dev's priority, and the main things gonna happen soon is the stake for cards to generate the hotsauce and the play to earn that will follow after.

If you are new on the Arcade Colony, let me tell you what is the hotsauce and staking cards system on the games. Hotsauce is working like the energy on Splinterlands and Fuel on Moonkarts. It is most likely to the fuel on Moonkarts, with the generate system by staking the cards. We will also need 2 script to stake each cards.

I personally think that the script is at the low price after there is a selling pressure from the dev few days ago. The price will likely to move up again once the rewards for playing is live because then people will try to earn as well. And one more things, unlike the moonkarts where we can storage fuel as much as we can, there is refrigerator system on Stake House Den based on the whitepaper on https://splinterlands.gitbook.io/stakehouse-den-whitepaper/hot-sauce/refrigerator. This will give more demand for the script as well !

My Ladyluck Open Pack Activity and Getting Script for Staking

First, I decide to get 18 Script from the swap pools at https://tribaldex.com/swap?from=SWAP.HIVE&to=SCRIPT ,12 will be used for getting 3 ladyluck pack, and 6 will be spared to stake 3 cards.

Next, I have to bridge the Script from the engine into the in game wallet at https://arcadecolony.com/token/script/transfer

Now it's time for open the packs, I have a good feeling today, hopefully a great cards would follow !

Dang ! My good feeling is followed with quite good result ! Out of 15 cards I pulled from the 3 ladyluck packs, I got 2 gold foil common cards, 5 rares, and 1 legendary joker ! I enjoy this unpack so much, because it's my first time getting the gold foil and legendary cards after all unpacks I've done before. Just as comparison, the very standard/ minimum unpack is only contains 4 common + 1 rare in a pack, and I got 5 rares, a legendary, and 2 gold foil cards !

What's Next ?

I'm glad to have the legendary and gold foiled cards from today unpacks, I think they will get me more hotsauce and I'm thinking about staking them later, because I already have some script ready to be used ! Should I get another packs after the post payout ? Or should I focus on staking colony for more rewards and script for getting more slot for staking ? I will think about my next step later.
