Yes.. with Melee Mayhem rule, we can use melee units as if they were range units.
For that, I don't usually use the cards with abilities like snipe, sneak or opportunity monsters in Melee Mayhem rule. They sacrifice something for those ability.

totally agree mates, monster with good ability often having low stats or extra mana cost, while those that having good stats and great mana cost having less ability 😤
