Back on the old days when I'm scrolling my socmed and get the ads of a Card Battle Game with the Play to Earn mechanism. I actually skip it at first because I'm a bit sceptic since we need to pay before play and earn. But after several ads, I become more curious because play to earn is a new concept for me that day. I join the telegram group and gather information which in short that Splinterlands is a legit game to earn, with interesting game play !

I finally join the Splinterlands on September 2021 and enjoying the game, as well the up and down from it's ATH till today !

My Most Memorable Battles

After thousands of battles, my most memorable battles are on my period for challenging the Bronze Leaderboard. Yeah, the league was not auto advance that time, so we can chose to stay and challenge for the leaderboard prize of going up for better battle rewards multipplier on higher league.
I was having many epic battle those day. Beating the Llama + Kron combination is a very tricky and memorable for me because it was against top players !

How My Strategy Evolvved

With more series are coming in, new ability are introduced as well. This force me to adapt on it since it's hard to keep the old trick works with new counter. So as long as we want to stay competitive, we need to keep adapting. My strategy evolved from relying on big tank on front with full support on life element, into the assasin guys with the water splinters, then trying to combine the magic and assasin on the water, and evolving into the death element with many buff and debuff. There is no 1 META for me, cause it will always changed based on the ruleset and enemies history !

My Goal Ahead

Now I enjoy more on collecting cards. Since the soulbound rewards are introduced, I keep acucmulating the cards which were usefull for me on the battlefield. This give me a chance to use more of my own cards and reduce the rental cards. I also try to accumulate the SPS, not just for less rent cost, but also for the airdrops on the other games such as the one on the arcadecolony !

Conclussion

My battle journey was start on September 2021 after find the Splinterlands from an ads. Since then, I face thousands of battles with the one against top player for challenging the leaderboards are the most memorable moments. With new ability is introduced on each new series coming in, I keep develop my strategy, which also considering the ruleset and enemies history. My target is to keep accumulate staked SPS and collecting cards !
