On any card strategy game, there is usually a META that often can be used to easily win the match. On Splinterlands, I think there are some powerfull combination that is hard to beat as well, but as a balance tactical game, there is always a counter for any strategy ! The old players must be very familiar with the llama + kron combination. Even if it's hard to beat, there is still a way to beat them, such as with sneak monsters, or void armor + repair and some damager.

On current modern format, I think this is one of the most annoying META. The resurrection and Bloodline tributes works even better than the martyr and resurrection, because the effect is applied on all same races plus the shapeshifted monsters.

Some people even get more monsters with resurrection to get more bloodline tribute effect ! It's very annoying because you need to eliminate same monsters multiple time, and at the same time you will get hit by stronger and stronger monster from the back. No forcefield at current modern make it worst because you can only took that high damage 😅

Get the Anti for It this Season !

I always try to improve my squad, and after some observation, I finally met a monster to counter the strategy !

This is the anti for that strategy ! The final rest make them can't trigger the bloodline tribute and the resurrection ! You will no longer face the problem of eliminating one monsters for multiple times and face stronger opponent !

He also got the impede which is nice to reduce enemies speed, and the recless can be used to forge the team like satoshi drakamoto !

The only problem is that he is on death element, so I need death splinters to counter them. If only this is a neutral monster~

Here is the formation of my team and @olaf.gui , he made a really nice setup of the bloodline tribute plus 2 resurrection ! The scavenger from tofu will makes his monster even stronger with each resurrection because it will gain more health point as well. Would be great if the bloodline tribute + resurrection applied succesfully !

After peeking at his history, I decide to bring my secret weapon at the back (to minimalize the reckless effect). I also got the tanker for physical anticipation, followed with high speed phase monster and some damager. Satoshi drakamoto is beside the craniax to get the painforge effect. I got lorkus as my summoner to give the life leech and nice damage addition.

Ruleset for this match is :
Deflection Field : No return damage or blast will happened. Great for my melee monster the thorn wouldn't give any damage

Mana cap :
54, nice mana for many combination strategy

How the Battle Goes

At first round, I easily eliminate the tanker since he can't get resurrected. Meanwhile, my tank also got eliminated after getting magic spam ! 5-5 situation at the end of 1st round.

Now I can safely eliminate enemies tanker while my tanker still safe thanks to some missed attack !

Now 2 monsters are eliminated at 3rd round, make it 5-2 situation at the end of 3rd round.

Finally I win the match easily !

Even that you see my team win the match easily, the situation might be very very different if I don't get the final rest monster. My damage would wasted for several times because the tanker keep coming in, and the monster behind would be more dangerous with higher damage, speed, and health ! My Kelan Gaines might have less or no missed damage anymore and my team can be easier to eliminate ! So, thanks for Craniax the Quick !

What's Next ?

I'm still looking to getting into the champions league, but currently still lack of low mana monsters as little league ruleset mostly get me loses. I will try to improve my deck next season, and also the reward cards, because I still often lose at times when both play reward cards such as the commander slade battle such as this match

Hopefully I can max out mine and get a better match against my enemies !
