On this ruleset, monsters will have enrage ability, which give them +50% melee power and speed if not at full health. At normal condition, this makes our monsters so powerfull, and we would be very carefully not to trigger this ability on many monsters.

Reverse Speed Ruleset

On this ruleset, the speed effect is reverse, which makes slower units is having higher chance to evade attack and early turn to attack. This is cause a contradictive with the enrage ruleset, cause we got speed addition beside the melee attack addition. For this reason, the speed different could maxed out if we can trigger the enrage ability of the enemies.

Thorn ability can be the missing piece that can effectively hurt back enemies who hit our team and trigger their enrage ability. Especially if there is monsters with sneak or opportunity ability.

Ruleset :

Beside the reverse speed and the enrage, there is lost magic ruleset which cause only melee and range attack that is available. This mean there would be higher chance of melee with sneak or opportunity ability. There is 49 mana cap which is high enough, and all splinters are available except for the death.

And here is the formation of both team !

I try using the tank with lowest speed, followe with reach monster that having repair ability. I also use monsters with opportunity ablity and sneak, plus monsters with retaliate ability on the back to hurt back any sneak monsters. Meanwhile, my enemies is combining the melee with range ability, and he also got the healer to remove the enrage from the tank (cause it won't trigger if the health point is full). There is huge level gap cause my enemy is using lv 1 summoner, but he use very effective summoner with thorn effect !

How the Battle Goes

At 1st round, thing look goods for my team, with enemies back monster is eliminated and trigger the bloodlust of vina, but the bad things is it's trigger the enrage from my sneak and opportunity monsters.

The enrage really give me negative effect cause I got 3 missed attack from the back this round. Meanwhile, my tank keep getting stunned and almost eliminated this round.

At 3rd round, my tank and the reach monster is eliminated. My team almost eliminate the enemies stunner after the sneak attack is not missed, but too bad the opportunity is missed again.

Now I lost 3 monsters at 4th round, and only left me with 1 monster. We already know who is the winner for this battle.

Sadly lose for my team 😔

Conclussion

On what doesn't kill you ruleset, monsters are having enrage ability which makes their melee attack and speed is improved. Normally this makes monsters that is hurt is stronger, but with reverse speed ruleset, the speed addition mean negative effect and could cause your team missed their attack against slower monsters. Thorn ability could effectively trigger melee monsters cause they can hurt back any melee monsters include the one with reach, sneak, or opportunity ability.
