Essential materials to make the drawing: brush 001, Chinese ink, Fabriano cardboard and water with alcohol.

Step 1.- I start with how important the sketch of the main character of the drawing is with the shape of the head and part of the body.

The movements of the lines give movement to the formation of the arm and part of its flannel worn by the fisherman.

We have already drawn the head, the thorax and its two almost complete arms.

Little by little the character comes out with his head, hat, two arms, two legs, but he is still unfinished.

The important thing about working with etching is to determine where the light, shadow, volume and space should go.

In this image the sepia tones were achieved by the incidence of light when taking the picture.

Note: it is important to clarify that black ink (depending on the brand) tends to take on a bluish or violet hue when adding water.
