Backslider is a Time Machine in Soulkeep

In the midst of the battles in Soulkeep, when the field is on fire and everything is moving fast and there comes a time when you need to control the battlefield with smart moves. This is where one of the most amazing spells I have seen in the game comes in, one that truly transforms the battlefield in seconds and It's called Backslider.

This spell isn't ordinary at all. It works like a mini time machine. When you first use it, you feel like you've gone back in time because it simply pulls the Fiends in front of you and sends them back, as if you're saying, "Here, show us your back!"

The beauty of Backslider is that it affects a large number of enemies at once, with a maximum of nine targets. This is a huge percentage in a busy battle. You can also use it four times in a battle, meaning you can use it in more than one critical situation to save yourself or change the course of the fight.

Its radius is also very wide, around 155°, meaning you don't have to be squaring up against an enemy; you can pick them off from a good distance. When activated, its effect lasts for three seconds, and in a battlefield, three seconds can turn the tables completely.

If you've tried Backslider a few times and monsters start to corner you, you can use it and see them retreat, as if you've opened a time portal. This gives your team a chance to rest, reposition, or even attack from a different angle.

Honestly, Soulkeep is full of awesome spells, but Backslider holds a special place for me. Not just because it's powerful, but because it's smart and tactical, and makes you feel like you're in control of the battle. If you like to play with your brain before your brawn, you should give it a try. The game itself is fun, but these are the elements that give it its true flavor.
