Splinterlands : Team synergy matters.

Splinterland is a trading card game in which a player creates a team of monsters led by an Archon to complete with the another players. Player if playing in the ranked matches, gains the glints and SPS as the rewards. If you are playing in the Frontier mode, then you did not get Glint and SPS, but you get foundation rewards cards in daily quest. Also, Splinterlands has option of combining or merging the multiple copies of the same cards. Combining causes the cards to gain either the attack stats, health stats,or may be swiftness stats. Overall, combining the cards causes card stats to be better than it's lower level and it's improves chances to win the matches.

Splinterland has 4 types of rarity level i.e Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Each rarity level has different max level and require different numbers of Card copies to be combined. For example Legendary card has max level of 4 and requires combining 11 level 1 copies to reach there. Epic cards has max level of 6 and require combining 46 copies of a level 1 card to get it at max level. Rare card has a max level of 8 and requires combining 115 copies of a level 1 card to get it at max level. Common card has a max level of 10 and requires combining 400 copies of a level 1 card to get it at max level.

A higher level Archon/Summouner will able to summon higher level cards. So in short that you need both higher level Archon/Summoner to field your higher level of cards.

Battle that we are going to discuss later in this post, we both used the rare archon, so table displayed above is valid for both of us. My opponent rare summoner/archon used in battle was level 5 rare archon, so it can summon level 6 common monsters, Level 5 rare monsters , Level 4 epic monsters and Level 3 Legendary monster.

My opponent has level 5 rare archon in the battle, while I was fighting this battle using my level 1 rare archon. So it is a huge difference in the levels,

As you already see, the opponent has level 5 rare Archon NOMOS as compared to boost of 1 my Level 1 Archon MARLAI SINGARIEL, which gives magic boost of 1 to all friendly monsters.
With ULINDIN OVERSEER opponent has the perfect tank. I used CORALFORGED as tank for me ad it has flank ability which was helping my COMMADER SLADE in second position to attack the opponent tank in the first position.

KAOURI MATSUNE and SALTWATER MAGE at 3rd and 4th position having magic attack and getting a boost of +1 magic attack by the Archon. At position 5 and 6 , I have AERIAL SHEILDWARDEN and GRIMWARD RUNSHOT that have range attack, which give perfect balance to my attack team.

Above screenshots shows both my and opponent team after both summoner and monster abilities has applied.

This is how the team look, after the end of round 1. Both teams have lost 1 monster from the lineup.

At the end of the round 2, the opponent has 2 more monsters from its lineup, and I did not lose any monsters in this round.

At round 3, though both the opponent and I did not lose any monsters but if you look at the health of the opponent monsters, there health is greatly reduced, and I win the battle eventually in next round.

Here I am able to take down the opponents much higher-level team than my team, as my placement of monsters and team synergy clicked.
