NFT on Behance: Opportunities & Threats

Good news for the artists out there, if you are creative enough to fascinate an NFT lover, then the luck is in your favour— and it’s REAL!

Adobe just confirmed it, turning Behance into a showcase platform for NFTs along with the regular visual elements. Those who have Behance profiles can sell their unique arts like other NFT marketplaces including OpenSea, SuperRare, KnownOrigin and Rarible. Even though it’s in the early phase— since we are talking Adobe here— the chances are it will be the centre of attention in the coming days. Well, it already has become a headline in recent times and all we can wait for is to explode it among the crypto enthusiasts.

Behance is already a gold mine for extraordinary artists. But due to excessive competition, newbies find it challenging to gain a strong position in the marketplace. Besides, on-demand talents are not so common on Behance, making it even harder for average artists; who may have unique ideas but are of no use in the typical marketplace. With the integration of NFT, those ‘untypical’ arts may have a higher chance of getting noticed and in return— potential sales.

One thing that signifies Adobe’s decision in regards to NFT is, it’s not only creating opportunities for artists on Behance Adobe is interested in, but it’s now clearly evident that Adobe has a plan with crypto and Behance is probably the first brain-child of that roadmap— who knows!

At the same time, Adobe is more focused on energy-efficient blockchain technology and Solana is no wonder why it’s the most favourite along with Polygon. So, Adobe is approaching more cautiously and adopting technologies that strengthening its marketplace, allowing its users more bounty, and benefiting the mother earth in the process.

Talking about opportunities, whereas the usual marketplace offered three basic types of visual elements to its users—

  • Photography
  • Graphic Design
  • Illustrations

Now, there will be more, say, it could be a selfie!

However, opportunities come with risks— it’s obvious.

And in the past, NFT has seen many successful scammers draining the wallets of many users who were not cautious enough or were too engulfed with the NFT fantasy.

The emergence of fake marketplaces and con artists claiming others’ arts as their own and selling them at low prices are some of the common scams the NFT world has faced so far. And with opportunities emerging, you can say there will be many.

Very recent news that shocked the crypto world— someone tried to bypass the transaction with a phishing link when pop culture icon Ozzy Osbourne’s NFT collection CryptoBatz went live. There were several complaints about suspicious transactions of Ethereum from the users' wallets that was roughly $40,895. ref

Another big news was Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC)’s NFT getting sold by a hacker that made Todd Kramer, an NFT collector lose $2.28 million! That was somehow sorted by freezing the assets on OpenSea— but this is a clear message of how desperate NFT scammers have become. ref

So, I’d like to request you all NFT lovers and creators, don’t get tempted by easy money. Approach wisely and the prize will be yours to bag home.

Good luck!

NFT fantasy.

Perfect word!
Some people are deep-dived in the fantasy after seeing many projects skyrocketing without seeing the failed ones too. Whenever we are dealing with any financial things we should be careful to double-check.

Have you seen Khalid Farhan's Bootcamp project?
It has NFTs to hand over the customers, some people are living in such a fantasy that I get shocked at seeing their skyrocketing expectations. Well, it's a good project, I also see better possibilities but the word you used 'NFT fantasy' has spread deep roots on many.

It's the craziness of ours that the scammers invest in and take away our assets in a blink of an eye. And this is not applicable to NFTs only but to all things valuable and vulnerable.
I haven't noticed the Bootcamp project, but, seems like it would be a good one. Thanks for the recommendation brother 😊

Yeah, it's great if someone is interested to start a business, Khalid Farhan is a great digital marketing expert, I must admit. I am a fan of his marketing strategies, trust me I don't praise anyone like this but his marketing influences are top class😅

Lemme give you the boot-camp project announcement link. If you have free time, check out this one:

About Khalid Farhan, what I admire most is his openness during any presentation and the use of 'spontaneous' words instead of posh languages to impress others without bothering about the clarity.
Your mentioning

it's great if someone is interested to start a business

just grabbed my all attention, and I am going to watch it this weekend. Hopefully, will share (read 'give') some lectures with you in the discord as well 🤣
