My Team Selection
ALRIC-STORMBRINGER
A summoner from water deck had to be chosen to be able to summon Nerissa Tridawn. Since Nerissa weapon is sole dependent on magic, it was logically right to select a summoner that can enhance this magic weapon. The summoner that has such ability among the water deck is Alric Stormbringer. This made it the suitable choice for summoner selection. Since I deployed Nerissa from level one having three magic damage, the presence of this summoner will help her engage in battle using four magic damage.
DJINN-OSHANNUS
NERISSA-TRIDAWN
Djinn Oshannus played the defender role in the battle. It was placed in the front to affect negatively the enemy's magic monsters with its void ability. Although, it happened that the enemy did go for magic monsters. Djinn however, did fight with its default two magic damage since the enemy's summoner didn't let them enjoy the benefit from their own summoner.
Nerissa Tridawn was not exempted from the enemy's summoner negative effect. She had to take on her enemies with her default magic damage given to her at level one.
VENARI-WAVESMITH
This monster came on from level two and offer two armor to all friendly monster using her protect ability. The card was also a victim of the enemy's summoner negative effect. This made it battle with its default magic damage as given in level two.
The Game Strategy
The game rule made all monsters eligible for the battle and simplified team selection. The strategy follows a magic dependent battle. First, a summoner that could enhance magic, and then a monster that reduce magic damage hit, and finally, a monster that have the ability to protect others. The magic enhancement didn't make any impact since the enemy's summoner countered it with its own magic reduction ability.
The strategy was good but didn't meet its expected enemy. Nevertheless, it yielded a positive outcome.
My Opinion on the Nerissa Tridawn card
I have taken out time to say things about this monster above. If am to rate this card using percentile, I will give it 70/100, which implies it is more than an average card even without any special ability. Coming against its magic damage is not something every monster can handle.
That will be all for this week. Hope to see you next week, same place.
